A Hidden Gem in Kamakura I had the most wonderful experience at &On in Kamakura. This cozy, inviting café is more than just a place to eat—it’s a space filled with warmth, kindness, and incredible food. The owner was so sweet and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I walked in. The meal was magnificent, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. You can truly taste the love and care that goes into every dish. But what made this visit even more special was the conversation I had there. She shared her passion for teaching and running the café, and we connected over our shared experiences. Visiting &On was not just a meal—it was a moment of connection and comfort during my time in Japan. I left feeling grateful and uplifted, and I want to sincerely thank her for her kindness and hospitality. If you're ever in Kamakura, I highly recommend stopping by

We found this place on Google map and walked there before visiting the Buddha temple, and it was really worth it. If I'm not wrong, the menu and the chef who cooks change every day. We had a tasty vegan ramen with fresh and local veggies, but also other ingredients that i didn't know but found delicious. The desert was also great. The "owner" on Mondays that we've met is super nice and speaks English fluently. Also, the place is small but very cosy. It was around 1200 yen or less for the main course. I definitely recommend this place, at least on Mondays ☺️☺️

A beautiful little cafe tucked up a side street, I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place by pure chance. The atmosphere was homely and cosy and the people were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, definitely worth going out of your way to come and visit.
