The outside is very nice, once inside there is not much interesting things to see but the explanation how they reconstructed the site. You better go to the side gate Kahoku mon which shows the same but for free. Visited at night time before close in early April 2025. We did not have to pay a fee to enter the grounds. Could not enter the castle at night. It was really nice to have the castle and cherry blossoms lit up. There were crowds but it was not crazy and the property is very large so it is nice to walk...
