Hongō Water Supply Station Park — Attraction in Tokyo

A medium size park with a diverse variety of areas. There is a playground, a rose garden with benches, several ponds and water features, and a large rotating globe. There are also multiple monuments in Japanese and a historical water supply channel that I believe was relocated from elsewhere in Tokyo.

The rose garden might have been my favorite part with lots of varieties clearly identified.

Small serine place. Great to sit for a while, may be having lunch break here. But don't come to visit the place just because you want to see this place. 本郷給水所という建物の上部にあるという、珍しい公園。基本的に給水所という建物の管理下にあるため、終日利用できる公園ではない（季節によって利用できる時間帯が異なるので注意が必要）。 都心にありながらとても静かで、都会の喧騒もほとんど聞こえない。一方で公園自体はそれほど広くないため、ボール遊びやランニングには適さない。休日でも訪れる人はあまり多くないため、周辺を散策しつつひと息休憩するために訪れるといいだろう。 中央をせせらぎが流れる和風庭園と、バラが咲き誇る西洋庭園があるが、他にも小規模ながら湿地帯や遊具が設置されている遊び場がある。老若男女誰も気軽に利用できるのが魅力的な公園である。

This park is unusual in that it is located on top of a building called Hongo Water Station. Since the park is basically under the control of the building called the water station, it's not a park that can be used all day long (note that the hours of use vary depending on the season). Although located in the center of the city, the park is very quiet and one can hardly hear the hustle and bustle of the city. On the other hand, the park itself is not very large, so it's not suitable for ball games or running. Not many people visit the park even on holidays, so it's best to visit for a short break while strolling around the area. There is a Japanese-style garden with a stream running through the center and a Western-style garden with roses in full bloom, as well as a small playground with wetlands and playground equipment.
