We just got back from enjoying an utterly outstanding stay at the Kimpton Hotel Shinjuku in Tokyo thanks in large part to the charming and stellar General Manager, Antoine Yoshida, and his phenomenal team. Every single person that we encountered was the ultimate professional throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and offered many great perks. The delicious food and sublime specialty cocktails were beyond compare much like the incredible service. This team truly lives up to the credo etched on the outside of the hotel “ridiculously personal “ by personalizing the experience in this elegant atmosphere. And how amazing was it to wake up to the variety of fur-companions of the other guests, from adorable dogs to exotic birds. The 24-hour gym facility was excellent offering a variety of machines to help keep fit in the morning right before jumping into the day. I must also add that I enjoyed the most delicious apple infused water during my workouts and got to end my training sessions with the free hyper volts massage guns that they provide for guests. We can’t wait to return in the near future and could not recommend this modern boutique hotel more highly to anyone traveling to Tokyo. Again, a heartfelt bravo to Antoine and his superb team. There simply aren't enough superlatives to convey how truly exceptional our stay there was.

We loved our experience at this hotel. The hotel room was lovely. The design of the rooms from the shower to the vanity are well thought out. The views are amazing. We met the R&B manager, Antoine at the complimentary welcome hour and very much enjoyed chatting with him being in the hospitality industry ourselves. The welcome hour had incredible views, wine, sake and a cocktail option with a few small bites. The space was really cool and we even got a tour of The Chapel where they host weddings and it was gorgeous. We ate and drank at all the spaces on site and had a wonderful experience. We really loved the bar on (I think) the 17th floor called 86 bar. Had a delicious dinner there and fabulous drinks. I met Dennys at the bar and she was so hospitable and was very fun to chat with. I stayed for an extra drink because we were having such great chats and I am now obsessed with the "Fake Manhattan" cocktail. I had it 3 times it was so good. If they have the seafood fried rice when you are there it was delicious. I think this may be a bit of an influencer spot because I've never seen so many people taking pics of their cute little dogs at the coffee shop and the restaurant. They were rolling out the fall and halloween specials which looked like art. Incredible spooky treats. I was so impressed. We will stay here on our next trip.

Denneys Tokita at 86 Bar, The Kimpton SHINJUKU TOKYO hotel made our night! Denneys Tokita, a member of the 86 Bar service team, gave us a wonderful experience at the 86 Bar of the Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo Hotel! We went after 6 pm for a fantastic view of the city lights and received exceptional service by Denneys. She recommended the bartender’s-choice drink menu & explained each unique, delicious drink as it was delivered (good bartending there, too :). She made a beautiful presentation of the drinks with side snacks on a slate serving plate & colored sriracha salt & delicate flowers that gave such a local Tokyo flare. There was a traditional Japanese story behind each drink and her story telling was soft and entertaining. She had a warm smile & genuine desire to enhance our already spectacular time at the impeccable Kimpton Hotel. I can’t say enough good things about her welcoming attitude, knowledge about the ingredients with the stories behind the libations, happy approach, & genuine friendliness. My husband & I will never forget the lovely people at the Kimpton Shinjuku Tokyo, especially Dennys at the rooftop bar! Thank you Denneys for making our last night in Tokyo so memorable!! Please see the review by mzp232 on Trip Advisor regarding other comments on the hotel itself which is a truly exceptional hotel at all levels.

Two of my adult children and I spent two nights at the Kimpton hotel in Shinjuku Tokyo. The hotel was wonderful in every aspect. Even with our luggage, the walk from Shinjuku station was only about 10 easy minutes. Between the hotel and Shinjuku station there were many restaurants and bars and a couple of coffee shops including a Starbucks. When we checked in the fellow at the front desk realized that we needed a room with three beds. They found one that was available and within an hour, had the extra bed added and our luggage delivered to the room. Our room was beautiful, with nice city view. The beds were very comfortable, including the extra bed. The towels in the bathroom were the very best that I have ever seen in a hotel. The toilet was great and I am now shopping for a similar one for my home. You leave the toilet room cleaner then when you went in! The room the bath tub was in was also the shower room. The tub was large and deep and next to a floor to ceiling window which made the area very open and inviting. The bar or cafe on the 1st floor did not open until seven AM, but they were kind enough to make us coffee, including a latte, around 6:30. We enjoyed the ambiance and excellent service several times during our short stay. We also enjoyed the complimentary happy-hour on the 17th floor one evening.
