Marunouchi Naka-dori St. — Attraction in Tokyo

Nice to walk along Naka Dori starting at the back of the Peninsula and heading towards Otemachi. Historically this road was full of office buildings owned by developer Mitsubishi Estates that had loads of lunch time restaurants in the basement and high end shops at street level. On the left hand side as you walk in the direction of Otemachi, Marunouchi Naka Dori also includes the back of the Dai Ichi Life/Norinchukin building where General McArthur had his office after WWII. Many of the office buildings are currently being redeveloped including Kokusai Building that was the office to several foreign firms in the 1980s. In November through new year the trees are decorated with Christmas lights. On weekends you may get a few musical street performers. 木、金曜日に 丸の内仲通りにキッチンカーをOPENしてると知り、ランチがてらお邪魔しました❣️

お洒落なお店が立ち並ぶ、

まるで外国のような並木道です。

毎日11:00〜15:00に歩行者専用道イスとテーブルが置かれているので、休憩したり、ゆっくりお茶を楽しむ人、ランチタイムに食事を楽しむ人もいました。
