I decided to try this cafe as I've seen it in Instagram. A lot of people gave a positive reviews. I am still on the line up to get in amd it's been 1.5 hrs now. There are 2 line up before you finally able to eat. First line is about one hour on a Monday morning. I started to line up at 10:45am. There was no communication on the first line up how long you will get in and there was no mentioned that there will be another line up before you even get a table. I am now on my 1.5 hours and there are 10 more people in front of me. There are 2 tables for 2 available but I won't be seated on that table because I was third on the line with 2 groups of 5 i front of me and that is one of the reason why the line was soooo long they have to sit the first 2 groups first that means they have to wait for a large group of table to be finish before they able to give me a seat. Although, I haven’t tried they're food yet, I don't think 2 hrs wait for the pancake no matter how good their "butter" is worth the time.I would not recommend this place if it's over 30...

The pancakes are thin, soft, and big, but a little dry if eaten without the butter. As the name of the shop suggests, the butter is the highlight and really brings out the flavor. Drinks are good but slightly sweet. The free buttermilk welcome drink was a nice touch too.
I ended up packing half a bar of butter to take home and they gave me a bag and a cooling gel so it wouldn’t melt. There’s also a bakery/butter/cheese shop next door where I picked up a birthday gift for a friend.Staff were very polite both at the cafe and at the gift shop.
Overall, I thought it was a nice experience. I wouldn’t mind going again, but if there’s a line… I’d...
Read moreWhile the menu here has many enticing options, the star of the show is the hotcakes and butter. Let's just get this out of the way, though: you're probably going to eat three pancakes and an entire stick of butter. You'll enjoy yourself more if you come to terms with this before sitting down to eat. My advice is to apply the butter as soon as the hotcakes are delivered, cutting the stick up into seven or eight pieces and sliding them under and between each hotcake, allowing the latent heat to melt the butter and really soak it in. It felt so sinful, so gluttonous to eat them like this that I felt I should have been eating them with my head under a cloth like the French do while eating ortolan, hiding their shame from God. Each bite was incredible and further reinforced that this was the proper way to consume hotcakes. You owe it...
