I visited the bus ticket counter on yesterday, the male staff member, wearing glasses, who was selling the tickets on site was polite to the customers before and after me, to whom seemed to be expats or English. However, when it was my turn to ask about ticket information, he became impatient and gave a rude attitude on us, he didn’t want to repeat the information, p.s. we do not speak japanese, even though my father can speak a little japanese, but it’s not on a fluent level. As for those staffs who working interacting with foreigners or tourists frequently, I believe that they should at least have patience and should share the explanation of whatever they’re selling or promoting. There was no queue behind us at all and yet, we even got told by him that, “I have explained you already.” I think he should go back to receive his training.
I hope the bus business will think about hiring employees who treat every customer fairly, regardless of the language they speak, or the appearance they look, as this is a ticket counter that mostly serves visitors (i.e. tourists). And this is a tourism and hospitality industry. Nobody should be treated that way, and I hope that this obnoxious individual never spoils anyone's day again! I'm hoping that the business or general manager will handle this case...
Read moreI visited the bus ticket counter on August 11th at 3:05 PM. The staff member was polite to the customers before and after me, both of whom spoke Japanese. However, when it was my turn to ask about ticket information, she became extremely impatient and rude. I asked about the 6:30 PM ticket, but she pointed to the "sold out" notice for 3:30 PM instead. When I clarified that I was asking about 6:30 PM, she rolled her eyes and practically yelled, "sold out" at me. Before it was my turn, she even skipped over me to talk to the person waiting behind me.
Since this is a bus ticket counter that mostly serves tourists, I hope the bus company considers placing staff who treat all customers equally, regardless of the language they speak. No one should be treated like that, and I hope no one’s day is ruined by this rude person again! My complaint is directed solely at this particular staff member (I have her name in a photo). I also visited the day before, and the staff member who assisted me...
Read moreDon't waste your money and valuable vacation time with this. Tgis is a scam. Tgey dont give you all the information when you buy tickets. We bought a 2-day pass and used it only half a day after realizing how bad and inneficient it is. We ended up using the well-connected public transportation system to explore the city. 1) to see some of the attractions you need to get off and walk 15- 20 min. Bus stops are not close to attractions 2) the frequency is terrible. The blue and green line are useless. 1 and 3 hr frequency., give me a break, who can time that? And if you get off, you need to wait for another 3 hr?. 3) there is only one bus stop for area so you can't explore one area getting off walking in the direction of the next one to catch the next bus. 4) most of staff only speak Japanese. Communication is...
