HARBS Marunouchi Building — Restaurant in Tokyo

Having gone to its sister store in Shibuya with a 1-hour wait on the weekend, I knew how hugely popular it is, so I was happy to get in immediately with plenty of seats at 18:30 on a Monday.

Got the seasonal melon cake and it did not disappoint. Very creamy but fresh and not making you tired of it at all til the last bite. Got the fresh herbal tea but it was a bit too "veggie" and leafy for my taste so I think next time I will try something more fruity and floral like the original herbal blend. Cake and tea came down to 2,000 yen per person.

Classy and high end service and atmosphere as expected, even better than Shibuya since this is Marunouchi. Highly satisfied.

Food like pasta is 11:00-17:00, after that it's only sweets and tea. ...

I’ve loved Harbs when I was in Kansai and it was treat for me to find this Harbs branch in Marunouchi Building that serves the Harbs Pasta Lunch Set. It was my first time trying the Tomato Mozzarella Pasta and it was absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture of the started salad with slivers of almonds and creamy dressing. The lunch set comes with a salad, a pasta dish of your choice, half a slice of cake that’s available for the lunch set and your choice of drink, all for ¥2,400/pax. The last time I had this set a few years ago, the price was only ¥1,800. Anyway,...

Cakes are delicious! Initially I chose the "Queen of cakes", but staff warned that plenty of alcohol is used in this and many other cakes (except Strawberry and Marron cake I think), so I went for the strawberry cake (1,000JPY). The "Organic Blend" was alright, but nothing extraordinary. The staff were nice, but rules are sort of strict. The staff warned us to take off the mast ONLY when we are eating, and the seat was limited to 90mins. There aren't that many tables and its usually full, so you can expect to wait a while...
