Tobu Department Store — Attraction in Tokyo

Like any department stores next to a big station, lots of floors of fancy boutiques, but always some affordable shops like Daiso 100¥ (giant, with sub-stores Standard Products and Threeppy) and Uniqlp. This one is a little less contemporary compared to those department stores in Ginza and Shibuya. However, the shopping experience was good. It's a little hard to navigate in the store because of its long-shaped layout and how the two parts of the new building and old building connects. The food court in the basement is like snack heaven. All kinds of Japanese dessert with renowned historical brands, as well as a tea shop from Kyoto where you can taste and buy high quality authentic Uji macha and macha brewing...

it was REALLY nice at daiso... they had lots of department store goods, really really affordable. like everything was basically under 350 yen. from household items like kitchenware and cleaning products to healthcare items like oral care/body health. staff were super friendly to foreigners as well and legit go out of their way to help. for example i asked if they had an item available while i was in self checkout, they left their station to see if what i asked for...
