Bought a camera and lens at this shop, the clerk was a tall young man, very helpful and patient. I needed the camera right now but they didn't have it in stock at this shop (very common in Japan that it's stocked somewhere else), he ran to the nearby warehouse for me to get it in half an hour. I guess this is not common, I was impressed by how committed and nice he was! Keep him in the team, he's a gem! 💎
I'm only giving 4 stars because I realized after deciding to buy that the cashback campaign from Sony didn't apply for foreigners. It was not mentioned on the advertisement paper, you actually have to go on the website and check the Q&A page. But considering the high number of tourists in the area I think the staff should research that info beforehand to make the purchasing process easier. When you purchase a camera and hesitate between different models, you also make a decision based on how much you're paying, so it can be disappointing later on to realise you're not eligible.

On top of that, the cable they told me was compatible with the product I bought turned out not to be, so I had to go back in this brutal heat just to exchange it for the right one. I mean, at least they did let me exchange it, which is something, but between the bag issue and being forced to walk in this kind of heat—twice—I ended up feeling really sick and spent most of the afternoon in bed. There are probably other factors too, but it’s been a while since I’ve felt this kind of physical discomfort, like my stomach or maybe my intestines have been constantly spasming, so I doubt all of this...

So, you might have to go to different building if you're looking for some stuff. Furthermore, the one in Ueno does not carry pc components. For that, you have to go to Akihabara or Shinjuku. For the shopping experience, it always the same in all stores. The staff will go the extra mile to help you out, eventhough they only speak...
