Yard Gallery — Attraction in Kaunas

A complete gem of a place. An oasis hidden away from the street. Despite hearing of this in the Kaunas literature i came across it by chance. This has to be seen. The effort that has gone in to this place is truly mind boggling. I was alone when i visited and could have spent ages here just looking at the artwork. There's information everywhere even a John Lennon Imagine inspired mural. Wow what place its definately a must see place. Remember the rules it is peoples...

One of the best locations in Kaunas you must visit 💯 Art is in the air) This is a story of how an ordinary backyard has turned into something unique. Every building has its own style and legend. The common narrative is not there so Kiemo Galerija looks like eclectic space. When you're there, you feel a spirit of freedom and creativity. It may seem wierd but, in my view, you should visit this marvelous place! My recommendation...

I visited this neighbourhood as part of the walking tour, otherwise would have not know about it. You will see how the artists have used the space so creatively. The paintings on the wall are nice. The cat one especially, as described to us, was drawn next to the bins to show that someone is watching you, so please throw garbage in the bins. I personally liked how small toys were hanging...
