Omg I love this spot! We came here for the capoeria workshop and had a blast. I haven't spent much time at Ala Monana beach park because I really dislike crowds, but lately I have been having wanderlust so I am venturing all over the place where there are tons of people. There were so many activities going on, I felt like a kid in a playground--I wanted to play and talk to so many people. Anyways, back to the park. I noticed that this place is a great spot for families to come to. We all participated in the class, and cannot wait for the night market performances. The water was clear. It is such a beautiful spot. You have views of Diamond head.
We had a wonderful time here. We caught ‘The Bus’ here. It was about a 5 min walk from the bus stop. But if you drive, there are plenty of parking stalls (Spots)
You can have a picnic on the grassy area. There are restrooms too, which is always handy when you have children with you.

The park is now filled with tents set up by the homeless, surrounded by piles of trash. The ground is damaged, the grass is destroyed, and litter is scattered everywhere across the lawn.
