PEOPLE WITH KIDS AVOID THIS PLACE! Unless you want food thrown at you and to be mistreated! My family and I have been coming here twice a month since moving to the island in 2023. Never have we experienced such horrible attitude by the staff and server. I usually get the tall, sweet guy who always recognizes us when we walk in. Unfortunately he wasn’t there and we were stuck with a short, rude girl who clearly didn’t want to help us. We waited 40 minutes to get seated, 30 minutes to get water and put in our order and over an hour for the food that NEVER came! We always bring our kids with us and it has never been an issue but yes of course after waiting for so long our youngest started to get antsy and hungry. She wasn’t being any more loud than the rest of the people in there (it’s a damn bar) and some rude, drunk woman sitting in a booth adjacent to us decided to throw food at my kids because “they were too loud!” When I confronted her and asked her if she was the one who threw food at my kids, her response was “Well were your kids loud???” She laughed in my face with no remorse and I grabbed my glass of water and threw it straight in her face. Yes I could have probably handled this situation differently but in my children’s defense, she got what she deserved which was no less than what she did to someone so innocent! Our rude and inattentive server sided with the drunk woman and scolded us for standing up to her. Even AFTER I explained how that woman intentionally threw food at our kids, the server showed no empathy and even called us liars!! The woman left shortly after to probably avoid further humiliation, cause what kind of grown person throws food at kids? And what kind of establishment condones this behavior?? This place obviously! Even after the problem left, the server continued mistreating us, completely disregarding what we endured on our end and ultimately expressed she didn’t want to serve us anymore. So we agreed to leave and pay for the drinks since we never received our food, only for the server to come back seconds later to tell us our food is finally ready if we want to take it to go. I refused the food since she refused to serve us and she wasn’t happy about it. Server couldn’t handle a conversation with me like an adult, she clearly was so mad and we somehow became the villains even though my family were minding our own business and being more than patient and gracious the entire time! I think this server just likes the sound of her own voice because she wanted to always have the last say, making unnecessary remarks the entire time. She lied and said camera footage proved the woman’s innocence which is a bunch of crap because not only did she in fact throw food at us but she admitted it to my face! Also the glass which used to separate each booth were removed a long time ago so it would explain how the woman was able to throw food across the wall (it’s not impossible.) And what about my children who are the key witnesses and victims in this whole situation?! Discrimination and unprofessional!! PEOPLE WITH FAMILIES AND KIDS DO NOT...

Read more. First let me say that since 1998 when I first visited this place the service and friendliness of the bartenders has died. If you aren’t a regular at this place where they know your name don’t bother going in. Bartender is most concerned with chatting with his regulars than serving anyone he doesn’t know. We tried this place twice while on the island The first night we went for dinner, had a 70 minute wait to be seated but in defense was because they had over half the bar reserved for a party. After seated, 20 minutes later the waitress came by to take our order. An hour later food was delivered to table. Today we went in for afternoon drinks and maybe dinner. 05/18/2022 @ 4:45 PM. We sat down right away at the bar. After 5 mins and the bartender, who kept claiming the bar had met their quota of hiring disabled people, looking straight at us several times my husband went up to order at another place at the bar. After 15 minutes one of the regulars asked if I had been served and so did an employee that had gotten off shift more than 20 minutes before. I told them my husband was standing at bar trying to get our drinks. Several minutes later my husband came with our drinks, leaving our credit card with the same bartender saying we wanted to open a tab. 3 minutes after getting our drinks he slides over the tab closing us out indicating he wanted us to close out. We planned on having several drinks here and possible dinner. We finished this round and my husband takes the tab for more drinks to be added to it. 10 minutes later, my husband says he is not staying at a place that literally makes visitors feel like intruders. As we are getting up the same bartender asks if we wanted a drink. I told him that we were leaving cause it didn’t seem he wanted to do anything but chat it up with his buddies at the bar. Honestly I don’t think they care cause they don’t want you there unless you are a local regular. Don’t waste your time or money here to be ignored and treated...
