Blue Ice Skating Rink @ Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru — Attraction in Johor

I'd like to apologize first since my review that you will be reading is kind of mixed. First of all, I would like to say that the environment of the ice rink itself is okay, but sometimes the toilet would be really dirty for some reason and the staffs doesn't really pay attention to the cleanliness of the toilets. However, staffs here are friendly. Some of the coaches and students are really nice but I wouldn't recommend learning at this place for a long period of time since the management's attitude is quite questionable. And of course, 林子大了什么鸟都有 。Some of the parents and students exclude and love to talk behind other's back.To add on, a lot of students have been effected deeply by the negativity that has been going on at the place and a lot of them has changed to other rinks to learn better for their own sake not to mention that some are still slightly traumatized. Lastly, a small reminder for parents that are planning to let their children learn there. Please ensure your children focus more on the courses and make sure they don't involve themselves with people that has no moral conscience .

Plus : There are non-coaches that teaches people how to skate there and I really think it's one of the only reasons that I remain skating at this place...

Well it is an ice skating ring, the staff are nice... and the good things about it ends here Equipment is old (pictures from 6 years ago are the same as now) really worn and uncomfortable. Cheap plastic shoes that you can barely tighten up, because they become loose, but when you manage - they start hurting your legs. Also the inside is wet from previous users There's only a hockey type so if you want the figure skating shoes - welp not an option unless you have them Ceiling is wet, mouldy and dripping giant drops all over the place, making holes in the ice Some figure skating students practice their moves outside of the dedicated coned area and not in the empty middle. Making professional moves on the skating lanes.. I barely had time to recognise where they are moving to not collide with them Overall a very meh experience for someone who's from a country with a proper winter Only worth if you have your own shoes and already know...
