MediSpring Family Polyclinic (Mount Austin) — Attraction in Johor

Have a very bad experience with this clinic. Fall sick (fever, sore throat, coughing etc) and visited this clinic recently and the doctor gave me 1 day sick leave. However, I still not feeling well and visited the clinic again the next day, another doctor attended me and ask me the reason to come to the clinic. I told him that I still not feeling well and headache on that day. He was very inpatient and told me that usually this sickness would not recover in a day. He even told me that doctor only can give me max 2 days sick leave as they are under my work company’s panel clinic. I have a lot question marks on my mind when I heard the doctor told me this in a very inpatient tone. Firstly, why the first doctor did not provide me 2 days sick leave on the first visit if she know that this sick syndrome would not recover in a day? Secondly, what is the doctor’s professionalism to issue number of days of sick leave? It based on either the patient visited the clinic personally or under their company’s panel clinic? This is really ridiculous not really based on the sickness of the patient. I told myself I won’t go back to this...

I am the frequent visitor to Mount Austin outlet as my family stay near by. We were so pleased with the service of staffs and Doctors so far except today's bad experience. I visited the clinic when I received the reminder message to see the doctor to fiollow up around 5pm. Once I reached, there were the staffs only, no doctor at all. They told us to visit after 1 hour. The second time also, Dr Chin was not there yet. Then we returned back home and waited. Around 8pm, we called the clinic and Dr Chin is not there yet. The staff said they will call us when he is back. Waited until 9pm and was not received any call. Only when we called, the staff said Dr Chin is back. The patient had to wait for 4 hour long and there was no apology from the staffs and doctor. It is not acceptable for such irresponsible management. In the future, you should practice this... If you're not available, please close your clinic temporarily. Asking patient to visit for a few times without taking responsibility. Had a bad...

Honestly, the worst check up I come across. The Dr barely spend more than 4mins to consult you. I thought I was being nice to explain my history and condition but very fast the Dr make assumption is common flu. That’s reassuring but then again i told Dr I have sorethroat cause I feel it then only he ask me to open my mouth and check and from a distant with torchlight and 2s only 😅then he say no sore throat . No use of stethoscope which I thought every Dr need to use for every basic examination.

Moving on to the medicine, he didn’t ask I take any medicine. So I just told him on my own I took pcm which work initially then when not I use different medicine. So at the dispensary ,Dr still give me pcm which didn’t work one and then give me a runny nose medicine but actually I told Dr i have blocked nose leh 🫠
