Wish i could put no stars. They had 4-5 counters but only 1 counter was open. Wanted to do a simple bank draft for property payment while providing the Letter of Offer from developer. Sister went to Maybank earlier on and did a same service and was successful without any hassle while providing same documents. I had to go to Bank Islam as my money was in Bank Islam. Alas, they needed more documents for me to make a bank draft to take my own money to pay my property (not even a loan). As beneficiary name was on known developer’s name which bank can actually check the code to see if its legit and not scam in the first place (being an ex bank employer myself, so i know this). And the female employer had the audacity to ask why did i not make the bank draft in Maybank itself with my sister.. “Hello mak cik dah duit saya saya masukkan kat bank awak takkan saya nak minta Maybank buatkan servise yang sepatutnya bank awak bagi kepada customer awak!” My advice: PLEASE THINK 100xx BEFORE OPENING AN ACC WITH BANK ISLAM. If you have other options please choose the later as they might ask you to go to other bank anyways.(Your bank name really reflect the people in it) sorry...
