Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru is truly a family paradise, especially for those with young children. Unlike many other malls that only focus on shopping, this mall offers an incredible variety of activities that keep the whole family entertained for hours.
From the moment you walk in, you can feel that it is designed with families in mind. Children will be absolutely thrilled by the wide range of fun options available. There is a spacious ice-skating rink where kids (and even parents) can enjoy gliding on the ice together. For those who prefer something on wheels, the roller skating arena provides an equally exciting experience. If your child loves adventure, the indoor rock climbing wall offers a safe yet challenging activity that builds both confidence and energy.
Entertainment goes even further with a modern cinema for family movie time, a trampoline park that is always a hit with energetic kids, and even family karaoke rooms where parents and children can sing and laugh together. On top of all these attractions, the mall also houses a wide variety of dining options, so after all the activities, families can conveniently sit down to enjoy a delicious meal together.
The atmosphere is vibrant yet family-friendly, and parents can feel at ease knowing there are plenty of safe, engaging, and high-quality entertainment options all under one roof. Whether it’s a weekend outing, a school holiday treat, or just a spontaneous family day out, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru never disappoints. It is without a doubt one of the best destinations in Johor Bahru for families...
Read morenew cat cafe just opened not too long ago, called chucky cat cafe. they also have one at komtar jbcc near the causeway. paradigm mall also has 2 arcades, one at third floor and one just below. here also has many food options. above paradigm, is a hotel called hyatt place (i think). the carpark here is quite big, but the slope going up and down is pretty steep haha. anyways, i hope to come here again
i came back 😈 anyways i tried the ice skating here, similar to rollerblading but kind of harder (cus of ice), pretty cold but after awhile younget used to it. gloves were like RM7 but yeah hehwahhaha. also the A&W is very nice. the float is just yumalicious. theres a Japanese restaurant called Sukiya. its basically like rice with beef. theres other options like pork bowl, noodles, etc. (please do not flood this mall with humans 😭 its already quite crowded) anyways i would love to come back!
CAME BACKK!! Some of you may know the yellow slide dropping from the 4th or 5th floor, to the UG level or 2nd level - i tried the slide and it was honestly super fun! (i did it twice lol) they will ask you to wear like a jumpsuit and they will spray some water on your back to help you slide down, the slide was almost straight going down (approx. 80°?) but you land on the net which may look dangerous (as it might look like its gonna drop any moment) but it wasnt that bad. Soft landing, and they help you out! Anyways would love to come back...
Read moreParadigm Mall in Johor Bahru is easily one of my favorite spots for a full-day outing. The moment you step in, the spacious layout and clean, modern design give a comfortable shopping experience without the claustrophobic feel you sometimes get in other crowded malls. What really stands out is how well it caters to both families and solo visitors—there’s truly something for everyone.
One of the biggest highlights for me is the wide range of entertainment options. From the indoor ice skating rink (a rare find in JB) to the indoor rock climbing gym and even a full-fledged indoor adventure park, it’s more than just a shopping center—it’s a leisure destination. I also love how the cinema offers multiple screening formats including 4DX, which adds a unique twist to movie nights.
Shopping-wise, there’s a solid mix of international and local brands, with big names like Uniqlo and Adidas as well as smaller niche stores. Food options are diverse and surprisingly affordable, ranging from trendy cafes to classic local dishes in the food court. The only downside I noticed was that some facilities, like the toilets and signage, could use better upkeep. And while the parking is ample, the design of the ramps can be a bit tricky for some drivers.
All in all, Paradigm Mall JB is a great place to unwind, especially on weekdays when it’s quieter. It’s not just a mall—it’s a lifestyle spot where you can shop, eat, play, and relax all...
