Duke Museum of Picture Book Art — Attraction in Kuala Lumpur

I chanced upon this place while exploring GMBB and was drawn to its name and vibrant art on display. I was greeted immediately by the very friendly and welcoming Peter, who took his time explaining the history of the museum, as well as sharing his collection of old books and beautiful art pieces. Peter and I bonded over our shared army life, and love of books. His partner, Linda, was also very warm and welcoming. She has immense knowledge in publishing, and did not hesitate to answer any questions I had.

This lovely bookshop sells local books and art pieces, and offers walk-in workshops such as notebook design, batik painting, and tote bag painting. Prices are affordable for most; I appreciate how they've made books and art so accessible for everyone. I highly recommend paying this...
