The booking was made via Agoda - 3 months in advance. It was for 8 days. The management of the premises Maple home made this a trip to Hell from the get go. We wanted to run back home but unfortunately had paid the full amount for 3 rooms/ 8 days. ||We requested early check in and all three rooms on one floor as one member is a polo patient. Emails were sent through Agoda and to the Residence’s email. They then claimed they had no idea about emails - even though we showed them the replies. ||We arrived at 8am after a gruelling flight and were told no rooms - not even one because the place was full. As we volunteered to pay extra, do anything, two others checked out but we were told rudely by Naushad that we couldn’t have that room. It had to be cleaned at 2pm! Not earlier. All appeals to have a space were met with rude replies, she finally turned on loud music to drown us out. ||||Finally we asked if they could just keep the diabetic’s injections and insulin vial in its small case, in their fridge - this too was refused so rudely by her. We booked into the hotel across the road and waited for the 5 hours to enter our rooms. ||||When we returned her Manager Jessica was there who when we explained all we had faced - shut us up quickly and went out of the area. ||||We had requested all rooms on one floor - 3 months ahead again. This too was refused. A complicated key card process meant that the member on crutches could not navigate the lift as it involved holding the card at eye level in a certain direction. ||The shower areas are all a steep step down and again impossible to navigate easily. The air conditioning was not working in one room. The flush and commode in one room were totally damaged. Because our flights were leaving 3 hours after checkout and because they refused a late checkout - we paid for the extra day. Enclosing photos of...

I have stayed in the residences 5 times earlier over the last couple of years since 2014. But it has been taken over by a company called Maple Home and Swiss Garden has nothing to do with it anymore. I was in shock how bad and run down it became. What a dissapointment! The staff at the reception were friendly but it is all not professional. The photos on Agoda are from years ago and the appartment doesn't look so nice any more. It needs a total refurbishment. The place is not clean, the floor was very dirty. There were ants and cockroaches all over the place, on the kitchen bench, in the bathrooms and we even found them in the beds. The bathroom walls were full of mould. Paint was peeling off everywhere. The aircon in our bedroom was leaking so badly that the floor was flooded so we needed to turn it off. After complaining two guys tried to fix it but it didn't help. After informing the reception again after a day they luckily fixed the problem. You could see on the damaged floor that the leak was not a new thing, must be leaking for a long time. The couch in the living room collapsed when I tried to sit on it. One of the feet was broken. The television was malfunctioning too. The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke. There is no city view, we were looking at a big building. We asked for some clean towels after a couple of days but they were not available so we had to wait until late afternoon. A couple of positive notes, the internet worked very well, the shower pressure was great, the beds were comfy and the swimming pool was nice, but bring your own towels, because they are not provided. Definitely avoid this place, there is much better accommodation in the area for the same or even a cheaper price. We checked out after 4 nights and moved to the Robertson Residences around the corner, so happy we did, much better place!...

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Bukit Bintang During my recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel located right in the heart of Bukit Bintang. The hotel’s strategic location is one of its biggest advantages, placing guests within walking distance of some of the city’s top attractions, shopping malls, restaurants, and entertainment hubs. Whether you’re looking to explore Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Alor’s famous street food, or simply enjoy the vibrant city life, everything is just a short stroll away. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was truly remarkable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, always welcoming guests with warm smiles and ready to assist with any inquiries. Their genuine kindness and professionalism created a very welcoming and pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. The hotel room itself was spotless, well-maintained, and designed to offer maximum comfort. The bed was cozy, and the room provided all the essential amenities needed for a relaxing stay. One feature that truly stood out was the spacious and modern bathroom, which added an extra level of comfort and convenience. While my overall experience was fantastic, I believe there’s room for a small improvement. If the hotel could offer a prayer mat (sejadah) upon request, it would be a thoughtful addition that Muslim guests would greatly appreciate. This hotel is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur, whether for business or leisure. Its prime location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations make it a perfect place to stay. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to future travelers!

I usually do not give 1-star rating unless I experienced something grievous. Overall, unbelievably horrible customer service. It says on Agoda that I can check in at 2PM. I arrived at around 2:50PM and was told that my room with a king-size bed is not yet ready and asked me if I am willing to stay in a room with two single beds instead. I declined the offer since that is different from what I booked. They said I will need to wait until 3:30PM to go in my desired room as it is still being cleaned, and promised to signal me once the room is ready. Unfortunately, I needed to prompt the customer service at 3:45PM to let them know that I am still waiting and they reluctantly provided me with my room key. Finally, I went in the room at around 4PM to find the floor being very wet and slippery. The story does not end here though. After resting for some time in the room, another guest came into my room! How secured is this hotel when others can simply enter your room? I told the other guest that I just checked in, and they went down to ask the counter. I called the customer service for several times for clarification on who the room actually belongs to, and whether or not I can stay safely in the room without having to worry about someone barging into the room. After that, the hotel manager did personally come to apologize, as an opportune turn of event.

Decent hotel in a good location. Service is good, check-in and check-out were fast and easy. Staff were generally friendly and professional especially at the reception. Lots of eateries, shops and malls around the area within walking distance. Rooms are small but nicely fitted, lightings are adequate. Bed is comfortable but pillows can be better. It's not a hotel for views unless you get a high floor room, we got a view of the next building on the lower floor. Bathroom is good, water drains very well from the shower. Can get noisy along the corridor and sound proofing need to be improved! Hotel seems to have been renovated recently so rooms and some facilities look clean and new but carpark hasn't been improved. Breakfast is decent, with Indian and Malay dishes mainly. Some cold cuts, salad, dim sum, soup noodles. The egg station can be slow. Bread next to egg station, spreads are limited and no butter (?!) but margarine instead. Parking is very tight, it's an old building, with sharp turns that are easier for a small car. No lift into the carpark but only stairs, so you'll need to load and unload your bags at the hotel's driveway, which is also small. They'll charge RM10 each day. Validate your TnG card at the reception and the charge will be made the first time you leave the carpark on that day, while subsequent times are free.
