Alright, fellow food adventurers! Let's talk about a recent robatayaki experience that truly warmed my soul. Here's a review that aims for genuine appreciation: A Humble Hearth of Robatayaki: Interior and Ambiance: Stepping into this robatayaki restaurant felt like entering a cozy, hidden gem. The warm, wooden decor, combined with the gentle glow of lanterns, created an incredibly inviting atmosphere. It wasn't overly flashy, but rather possessed a serene and authentic Japanese charm. The open kitchen, with the robata grill as its centerpiece, provided a delightful visual and aromatic experience. I really enjoyed the feeling of being in a space that respected tradition. Staff Service: The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they were happy to offer recommendations. More importantly, they were patient and created a very welcoming environment. Their service was efficient without being intrusive, which allowed for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Food Taste: Ah, the robatayaki! The freshness of the ingredients was undeniable. Each skewer was expertly grilled, achieving that perfect balance of smoky char and tender succulence. The seafood was particularly noteworthy, with its delicate flavors enhanced by the robata's gentle heat. The vegetables were also a delight, retaining their natural sweetness and crispness. There was a very honest and pure flavor to the food. Food Variation: While the focus was clearly on robatayaki, the menu offered a respectable variety of options. From seafood and meats to a colorful array of seasonal vegetables, there was something to please every palate. The kitchen also offered a selection of other Japanese dishes, like fresh sashimi, which rounded out the meal nicely. Cleanliness: The restaurant was impeccably clean. From the dining area to the restrooms, everything was spotless. This attention to detail contributed to the overall pleasant dining experience. Location: Depending on the location of the resturant, here is an example. If the resturant is located in a down town area. "The resturant is located in a very accessible part of the downtown area, making it very easy to get to." Price: While not the cheapest dining option, the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients and the level of service. It felt like a worthwhile investment for a special meal. The value received was definetly worth the prices that were listed on the menu. Overall: This robatayaki restaurant offers a genuine and heartwarming dining experience. It's a place where you can appreciate the simplicity and artistry of Japanese cuisine, served with warmth and sincerity. If you're looking for an authentic and memorable meal, I highly recommend...

Menu-4⭐ Definitely new for Malaysian, it is authentic yakitori. Besides chicken & beef, they also served fish and seafood like oysters. Even for chicken, you can choose the skin, thigh or wings. And for each skewer, you can personalise the sauces. But besides yakitori, they serves rice and noodles. Variety is quite good.

Food-5⭐ Nicely cooked and roasted. Taste is definitely high rating. The ingredients used also top quality. Just look at the rice, you would know it is Japanese. I ordered teriyaki chicken rice, and the chicken is crispy yet meatful. The yakitori also taste good, chewy yet not too hard to chew. Nice combination with the sauce too.

Price-3⭐ Is high, the skewer is like RM10 per stick. Although it is normal market price, but consider the portion, not too madini. For the portion, as per shop name, it is more like street food size. So it small size.

Atmosphere-3⭐ The shop is small, maybe because the theme is street food style, so is not enjoyable at weekend or lunch and dinner time. But the service is good, the food serving time is quite fast. Also, the beverage is get from vender machine inside the shop, so quite unique.

I would rate it my 3rd tier, would recommends to try at least 1 time, for experience authentic Japanese street food style yakitori. Yet, it is not advise to come frequently, unless you have no...

Come take a few photos of the place then go elsewhere to eat.

There’s no reason to run a F&B establishment if the food and service are absent.

Chicken and squid skewers were tasteless and the sauces and flavorings were poor. The egg skewers were cold and not even grilled with the seasonings. If you order a set of 3 skewers it has to be the same flavor for all 3 - ridiculous. Chicken curry tasted worse than instant curry cubes. The potato was just a few thin slices lathered with cheap butter.

Food seems cheap at first glance, but the bill quickly adds up when you order a few items.

There are instructions to scan and order on the table, however they asked to pay before food is served - which is a terrible way to trap customers into waiting for bad food. Trying to get a refund for one item which had not arrived was difficult - one staff member attended to us, then went away to check on some things in the kitchen and never came back.

Drinks were cheap for local beer and soft drinks. For Japanese alcohol you’re better off buying from a...
