I’m a creature of habit when it comes to food, preferring the comfort of familiar dishes from the same old trusty spot. But my wife, ever the culinary adventurer, convinced me to take a leap of faith and try a new place she'd seen recommended on social media. Spoiler alert: it didn’t go well.
The service was commendable, with staff zipping around like holiday elves, eager to please. But the food? Oh boy. I ordered the bulgogi soup set and an egg cheese ramen that sounded intriguing on the menu. Intriguing quickly turned to tasteless disappointment. Even the kimchi, which is usually a reliable beacon of flavor, felt like a betrayal. One bite and I knew—I was doomed.
It’s Christmas, and I wasn’t about to let a subpar meal fill my festive quota. So, in a rare move, I walked out, leaving the meal behind. Normally, I wouldn’t do such a thing, but this was a culinary catastrophe not fit for the holiday season. Lesson learned: when the locals are all ordering chicken chop, it’s a hint you shouldn’t ignore. My bad.
So here’s my final verdict: never again. The two stars are solely for the fantastic staff who tried their best to salvage the experience. They deserve a holiday bonus for dealing with the...
Read moreMenu-4.5⭐ *it is a lounge and bar, even with Korean mix, the main purpose is to serves soju and beer. So if u r looking for traditional Korean food, then this is not the place. But urban western and snack for chill and gathering with friends, definitely yes. The dishes are more to urban base like chop, pasta mix with Korean spicy noodles and kimchi. But still they serves plenty dishes like rice and noodle that could be enjoy with family on day time.
Taste-4.8⭐ I like the chicken chop, is crunchy skin, juicy meat inside but not too much flour or oily like KFC or MCD. The mocktail however a bit to no taste of passion fruit, more to soda.
Price-5⭐ The price is consider high, but if consider the overall shop environment, location, is totally decent. In terms of food portion is just enough, quite generous for the peach put in the mocktail.
Environment-5⭐ Big 👍🏻 for the restaurant decoration and design. Very suitable to chill, drink with friend while watching football match and listen to live singing at dinnertime.
Overall is an urban bar not only for youngster or beer drinking, but also enjoyable for new type of western food or urban local style rice...
Read moreI recently had the chance to dine at K Wings Restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for both casual meals and gatherings with friends. One of the highlights of the meal was definitely the soup—rich in flavor, well-balanced, and served hot and fresh. It was a great start to the evening.
The chicken dishes were also impressive. Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right, they delivered that signature taste you expect from a place that specializes in wings. Whether grilled or fried, the chicken was clearly the star of the show.
However, I did try the lamb, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet the same standard. While the portion size was decent, the flavor and tenderness weren’t as enjoyable as the rest of the meal. It felt like the dish lacked the same attention to seasoning and preparation as the others.
The staff was polite and attentive, and the service was efficient. I would definitely return for the chicken and soup, but might skip the lamb next time. Still, K Wings has a lot to offer, especially if you’re a fan of flavorful poultry and...
