Read moreSubject: Feedback on Car Park Accessibility Issues at One Utama (Old Wing, Level 4 & 5)
Dear One Utama Shopping Mall Management Team,
I am writing to provide feedback on the car park management at Level 4 and 5 of the Old Wing, particularly regarding the lack of proper parking spaces for disabled drivers or families.
On 11 February 2025, I encountered difficulties while parking as my wife is temporarily using a wheelchair. Unfortunately, there were no designated parking spots for disabled drivers or families, making it challenging for us to find a suitable space. Additionally, the available slope was too narrow, making it extremely difficult to push the wheelchair safely.
I would like to commend the security guard on duty for his effort in assisting us. He tried his best to secure a normal parking spot for us at Level 4, but we still had to push the wheelchair a long distance to the nearest lift. While we truly appreciate his assistance, I believe better planning and infrastructure improvements are needed to ensure accessibility for all visitors.
I have attached photos taken on the day for your reference. I hope the management team can look into this issue and consider making necessary improvements, such as: ⢠Allocating proper disabled and family-friendly parking spaces. ⢠Widening the slope or providing alternative accessible routes. ⢠Ensuring closer access to lifts for those with mobility challenges.
Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback. I look forward to your response and any updates on potential...
