We’ve come here on two separate occasions and have not been disappointed. The weather was great on both days. One particular day was a holiday with high traffic, which the tables were removed in anticipation of the high foot traffic. But even with that, our visit was still impressive. We definitely make this a tour stop with friends or family who come to visit.
Don’t be disheartened if you show up and there is a long line. The staff moves very quickly to accommodate you on a quick moving tour. Staff is great about answering questions. Before you buy tickets the entrance has several glass photos of other skyscrapers from around the world with details explaining when they were built and their height in comparison.

Read moreGreat view of the city, amazing 360 degree lookout point. The main elevator takes you to the lower observation deck, nice place for a coffee at the cafe with an amazing view. Pro tip...... take the stairs to get to the other observation decks ( top 3 floors) the elevators going from the main deck (think it was floor 41) to the upper floors is small, slow, and had a huge line. Some exercise is always good anyways 😉 We had a drink at the restaurant (floor 43??) Then it was off to the top and the outdoor observation spot (again via stairs- waiting for an elevator es no bueno) Top floor observation deck is very nice with plenty of area to sit and relax and enjoy the entire view of the Valley. For me, the museum was well worth the additional cost. I think it was an additional 20 pesos for the upgraded wristband that allowed access. It is so cool to see the history of the building, the when/why/how of its construction. Lots of neat old photos of Mexico City and historical areas. Next trip to CDMX, I will be visiting again for a cheap and relaxing view from...
Read moreMy friends and I opted to go to the restaurant at the top instead of the viewpoint. The view was incredible and it was nice to not have to pay to head up to the restaurant. We found the restaurant prices to be fair considering the view.
The 3 stars are for the service. It was truly terrible. It was near impossible to get someone to serve us once we'd sat down. There were dirty plates and cleaning materials left on other tables while we were waiting. The food that came out was also different to what we'd ordered without any explanation. It was the right steak but all the sides were different to the menu. The worst part though came when we left. We decided not to leave a tip because we really were not happy with the service and the waiter followed us out of the restaurant to the lift pushing for a tip. When I said we were not happy with the service, he pulled a big face like we'd insulted his mother and left. It takes a lot for my friends and I not to tip, but this...
