BULA TULUM KAVA & KRATOM — Restaurant in Tulum

This place was an absolute highlight of my stay in Tulum. It is a welcome removal from the hyped-up, booze driven vibe of the main strip along the beach. The peaceful and well-appointed environment they've put together makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The bartender "Wendy" was absolutely delightful. She gave me a tour of the property and shared lots of insight with me about the community. We sat and stared at the lightning in the sky above the cenote and had a great conversation. I will definitely come back and visit this place on my next trip to Tulum. If you enjoy kava/kratom and need a peaceful respite from the fast pace of the strip...Bula Tulum gets my highest...

Omg!! I love this place and I am already missing it. The owner is super friendly and informative with Kratom tea. I had a very educational experience with Kava. I've tried the kavatron, MX $400, it tastes very yummy. It serves you in a bowl. And I say it takes 3/4 of the bowl for me to start feeling nice/mellow. I am usually a rage person and this makes me so relax, even more passionate than I already am, like tipsy without alcohol intake. It just makes me feel so good that I went back the next day. Bula is hands-down my favorite spot in Tulum. Whether I’m working during the day or unwinding in the evening, it’s the perfect place to be—especially if you don’t drink or you’re a digital nomad looking for a relaxed, welcoming vibe. But honestly, what really makes Bula special is Sara. She’s the heart of this place. Every time we walk in, she greets us with a smile and goes out of her way to make us feel at home. She’s given us amazing local tips, helped us avoid tourist traps, and created such a good vibe that we keep coming back.
