It's a nice beach but there are a decent number of large rocks in and around the beach and in the water. Not really the best water play beach, and there's also a TON of foot traffic. It must be a popular walking beach for residents because it's a non stop parade of people walking back and forth. Can also get windy here. But also at other times it can be deserted. Very pretty beach too with a great view towards West Maui. The south end is a great snorkel spot as it shares the rocky...

Calm, clear water in the morning with some of the best snorkeling. Lots of fish and turtles. A short walk from the parking lot and shower facilities. Came at 8 am on a weekday with no one around. By 12 there were lots of swimmers but still pleasant. One of my favorite spots on the west side.

Lovely beach, in front of the Andaz Maui. Used by guests of the hotel and locals alike. Beautiful views of West Maui mountains and Lanai from the Beach. Amazing sunsets just about every night. Great snorkeling right off the beach, plenty of marine life.
