Keawakapu II Beach Park — Attraction in Maui

Nice small beach entrance with a shower. Small parking lot. From here the beach is just a few steps away. The beach itself is a relaxed and not so crowded with a lot of shade, especially in the morning because of a wall right behind you on the shallow strip of beach. If you sit a bit more to the waterfront you'll sit in the sun. Ideal with kids because there are hardly any rocks in the water. On the left side there is a rock formation where you can snorkel and it has all you wish for there: lots of turtles and fish and if you are adventurous you can maneuver your way through the sticking out rocks with is a bit harder...

I would recommend this beach to play in the water or to enjoy the soft sand beach to rest and enjoy the relaxing location. There are some rocks to the south which you can snorkel, but it wasn't as good as others spots for that. When the wind blows in the afternoon waves pick up and it is better for using the boogie boards. Fun spot for all to enjoy.
