Beautiful views from my condo, but I’m upset with the lack of clarity on gym/gate hours: I got up at 5, this morning to go run at the fitness center. I walk all the way down there and input the code, only for it to not work. Then I see a sign that says the gate doesn’t open until 7. Okay, no problem, I’ll just wait until 7. I come back at 6:38 and wait for 7:00. At 7:00, I input the gate code four times, and the gate won’t open. Then, an employee on a golf cart comes up, and I tell him that the gate won’t open. He goes, “Yeah, since it’s Wednesday, we cut the grass, and we don’t unlock the gate until 8.” I asked him if he could please just let me in the gym because I didn’t want to use the pool. He said, “Nope.” Are you freaking kidding me? So, I essentially just wasted two hours, trying to get on the only freaking treadmill on the property? I have somewhere to be at 9, so I will not be able to go back and use the treadmill before I leave. I don’t see the correlation between me not being allowed to enter the fitness center and the grass being cut. Extremely inconvenient.

Perfect! Wailea Ekahi village is truly a destination! Our condo was clean and comfortable and completely stocked. We had everything we needed for our 10 days on the island. With a full kitchen and kitchen tools, washer/dryer, bath tub in the bathroom and a walk out patio with chairs, an umbrella and cooler to take down to the beach all we had to do was buy some groceries. It was nice not to have to go out for every meal, we not only used the kitchen daily but also used the many bbq/grills around the property. There are 5 swimming pools so you can always find a quiet spot to swim and a short walk right down to the beach. These condos are a 12 minute walk from the shops at wailea for food, drinks, shopping and groceries and one beach over from the start of the wailea beach trail that takes you down to all the resorts( easy bar access)

This review is for unit 6D.||We really love coming to Maui and staying at Ekahi. We’ve stayed in 5 different units in the complex and this one, sadly, was our least favorite. The positive - super close to the pavilion and beach. Literally a 2-4 minute walk. The furniture and rugs are new and very comfortable. I found the bed comfortable, my partner did not. The appliances are fairly new. The view is peaceful with a postage stamp view of the water.||The negatives: the kitchen is small and older (though functional and had newer appliances). Cabinets may be original to the unit and some are dusty/dirty. The AC in the bedroom is super loud - so much so that we had to decide between being warm or hearing the roar of the AC. The AC in the living room broke before we arrived. The owner made a good faith effort for a solution which involved a portable AC (again loud) and a couple of fans. It’s my understanding that the AC is getting replaced soon so future renters hopefully should have a better experience with the AC. ||Many previous reviews commented on how clean the unit was. On first look, it’s true, especially with the new carpeting and furniture, but the flush mount lights in the bathroom and dressing area filled with dead bugs, the cabinet under the kitchen sink needed a good cleaning and the ceiling fans were coated in dust. ||Beach supplies included an umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs. One of the beach chairs had broken straps, the other had a stained headrest. We let the owner know about the broken straps but there was no offer to drop off some new ones. We didn’t try the snorkel equipment as we typically travel with our own.||All in all, my overall rating is probably skewed by our more favorable experiences at other Ekahi units which had updated, nicer kitchens and baths, better views and cleaner surroundings. We would stay at other Ekahi units in the future as the beach access is great, we love the location and facilities (pools, pavilion, pickelball...

It's hard to rate resorts in Maui because they're all kind of bad unless you're shelling out crazy amounts of money. This one, like most, is fine. The location is excellent, but we were also in the building closest to the pool/beach access, so that made it even better. Walking to the beach took about 3 minutes or less, if we hoofed it. So that was fantastic, and we went to chill on the beach every single day. The pool was also nice, with a great and fantastic pavilion. The view from the pool area is the ocean, which is awesome. The pool area also opens right up to the beach. This particular beach also wasn't too crowded, which was nice. The room itself was nothing fantastic. Very outdated. The curtains are dirty and spotted and need to be replaced badly. Being on the ground floor we saw a few bugs (one cockroach I killed and two that were dying) and there were a good half dozen bug corpses under the bed when we first got in. When we complained, they were kind enough to come vacuum them up that afternoon, but it would have been nice if we hadn't needed to call in. It was quite clean otherwise. The couch was also not nice to relax on in the evenings, which was a shame. The best part was just having a full condo with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. We enjoyed being here, but wouldn't come back unless they gave the rooms a...

I love this condo and this is my second time staying here. However, this time, I experienced a significant issue with receiving a package. Despite following the provided instructions for mail delivery, the package was not delivered to my door as expected. When I tried to retrieve my package after identifying it with the mail carrier, I encountered an extremely distressing situation with an office staff member who did not allow me to take my package. This not only prevented me from receiving my mail but also led to a very uncomfortable confrontation that was, frankly, the low point of my vacation experience.

Advice to the establishment: It's crucial for guests to feel confident that they can receive their mail without complications, especially when staying for extended periods. I strongly recommend establishing a clearer, more reliable system for mail and package delivery for your guests. Additionally, training for staff on professional and respectful guest interactions would greatly improve the overall experience at your condo. Ensuring that guests' mail is securely and efficiently handled should be a priority, as it plays a significant part in the overall satisfaction...
