I booked an appointment for a haircut, both online and by phone and had to follow up a couple of days later as I had not heard back from the salon to confirm my booking until the day before the preferred appointment time.

Alicia was polite and friendly. However, she clearly lacked the experience to be able to follow through with my exact requirements for the way I wanted my hair to look at the end of the 'experience'. I specified in detail when booking online, then again at the salon and I even showed Alicia a photo of what I wanted my hair to look like. My hair cut was overpriced given that Alicia was a junior who had to be prompted frequently. This haircut should have been done by a senior staff member to justify the $110 I paid.

I would describe this salon as 'clinical' in terms of atmosphere and setting. Based on my experience today, I'd have to say, it's not the "best salon in town" as claimed in its advertising slogan and I wouldn't go back to...

My experience may be a bit different to most as I came in as a hair model for the lovely Heather. She showed me what she was aiming to do and checked I would be comfortable with it throughout the process and my for my input etc, even though I was there as a model for her to have complete creative freedom. She created such an amazing look and kept me well informed on how to look after my hair properly after going from dark brown to blonde. I was asked to come in as a model again for another look which was also amazing! And again ensured I was comfortable with it throughout the entire process! I was then also given the option to have my hair changed to anything I wanted after I was finished being a hair model and I went back to my natural hair colour, the colour match is phenomenal! Today was my first visit at Laboratoire, and i can say I am very satisfied. This salon was recommended to me by a customer of mine, since I wanted to cut my hair short for quite a long time and didn’t know any good hairdresser. Beatrice did my haircut, she went ABOVE and BEYOND, to make sure I was happy with the cut, and even if ended up being a long session, because i wanted some change made, she has been very professional and made sure that I was getting out of the salon being a happy customer(and sure thing I will be back).
