Had the pork belly meal, super tiny piece of pork, payed 19.50 and the guy kept weighing and trimming it just to make sure he gave me the exact amount when the piece was already so tiny. When I asked for the crackling that he trimmed off he bluntly said no he can’t give that to me. Food generally was ok and found it very salty. Place was really packed and really hard to get any seats. All in was disappointing for the price it’s not worth it.
Replying to owners reply, firstly I didn’t say I couldn’t get a seat, I said it’s very hard to get a seat and gave 1 star for atmosphere because it was just too crowded.
Sure if the person cuts a little more why cut away just to make sure it’s exactly 160 g if it’s less then off course add more to make it around 160 g but not keep cutting the extras and weighing it to get exact by the gram, give a little more make the customer happy and he...
Read moreThis place is by far my favourite place to buy food from at Riverside Market. I can’t fault the quality or the taste of the food. I usually get the Dan Dan Ramen but have tried several other ramen/yakisoba dishes which were also very delicious. One suggestion I would like to make is to introduce a pager system like many other vendors have. Due to the location of the stall, next to the front doors of Riverside, lingering around to wait for an order often clogs up the space for people queuing for surrounding stalls or entering...
Read moreTL;DR- No Pork in Pork Sandwich. Bugger all in another one.
First off, have had Cluck Cluck Slurp before and loved it. Work Birthday Shout today, decided on Cluck Cluck Slurp and been looking forward to it for a few days. Ordered 3 x Pork Belly sandwiches through Uber Eats for myself and workmates. Meat Quantity issue. First one good . Second one Poor. Third Sammie (my one)-Crap-No meat at all. See photo. Poor processes if a sandwich can leave the shop with no meat in it. Hungry- Rang Cluck Cluck Slurp twice, no answer. Txtd- No reply. Pretty disappointed as I wanted to give them the opportunity to make the Birthday lunch right. Then saw recent google reviews, people have had same issues. Have contacted Uber eats.
Chips and Aioli were 4 stars though- Mainly because I...
