Weta Workshop Auckland — Attraction in Waitematā

I was so unsure of what i signed up for when I purchased my ticket, but i tell you I was behind surprised by what I saw and learned on this tour. If you cafe about any part of tv or movie magic then this tour is a must do.

My tour guide Kat from Canada allowed me join her tour when I arrived early. It was a smaller group wish is always great for this type of tour. Kat had more than enough knowledge to share to the point that I couldn't think of stuff to ask her. I felt under prepared and overwhelmed in a good way.

Pics and vids are highly encouraged and you're allowed to touch a lot more than you would think. This tour has fun interactive elements and enough info and exhibits that you might want to come back to see even more of given the opportunity.

I can state enough how much value is in this your for someone who likes filmmaking...

We bought tickets in advance, arrived 10 minutes early and were called into a group almost immediately to get ready for the start of the tour. Our house was Leeley (apologies for spelling) and she was great, very well spoken, engaging, and answered all our questions. Thought it was a great tour, although it wasn't exactly what we expected- though that may have been through a lack of our own research. But, the experience we got was fun, interactive and I would highly recommend it, especially for those with kids/ teenagers, and especially those artistically created. He is not only enthusiastic he oozes passion for his job! He made a huge difference to the whole experience.

He clearly has a lot of knowledge and could answer every question put to him. He is clearly a very exceptional member of staff

The whole place is very interesting and got so much WOW factor. It's definitely worth a visit for sure. There's hands on experiences, its WELL WORTH a visit. When you book your tour time, ask for Adams tours!
