About 1/3 rd of the painstaking time you spend here waiting to pay is directly linked to staff incompetence at the cashier level. They are simply grossly untrained.

For example, upon paying with my VISA credit card, she asked me if I wanted a "straight transaction." I asked her what the heck was a "straight transaction?". She told me twice to "wait," and just like that, ignored me the whole time. When management showed up, she was told to process it as a credit card because IT IS a credit card. Then I asked management what a "straight transaction" was, and she told me basically it's a credit card transaction. Then I asked her why the cashier didn't transact it as such initially. She couldn't tell me why. I give up. This is yet another example of the inefficiency that exists here and the abject lack of transparent communication.

Further, the store has more employees than customers. All getting in your way in what is already a crowded environment. This store has passed the number of employees that would be beneficial. It's simply overloaded with employees, resulting in inefficiencies.

Their garlick (the stem bunch inside a plastic wrap) was mold rotted black to the core (and very dessicated dry). Their sweet potato wrapped in plastic had freeze burn like consistency. Needless to say, we threw everything in the garbage. You will waste your money here.

Their whole wheat PENNE PASTA was loaded with thousands of weevil bugs. It left a permanent disgusting impression in my head. We saw hundreds coming out of the plastic in our pantry (on the same day we purchased it). When we opened the penne pasta plastic, there were thousands more inside. We threw both penne pasta in the garbage. Again, waste of money. They sell items that are health violation.

In summary, their procurement methodologies are flawed. Many items selling should have been removed from the shelf. Poor management. It's very disgusting.

Avoid at all...

My 1st grocery for 2019 , I love going to to this supermarket even this was small and bit compact the available varians or types of brand you can still shop what you want. Also the most important is lower the price to other close by supermarket .

Only the problem is POS they use is very slow, they put express lane below 12 PC's but cashier allowed even more than 12 so where is the logic putting it but you not implenting it so the next time the custom they allowed it will use that counter again. Management need to train how to be properly handle rules and regulations because they don't have it . Thier own rules can't implement it. How can we assure to get it from their cashier, if the manager and supervisor can't obey their impose system.

Out side the supermarket at the same level there is food court but watch out for the strong bad smell within the vicinity of food court,I guess they don't have proper ventilation so even when you get in from ground floor the smell is already welcoming you at escalator. Also spoon and pork much be watch out too already reported it to in charge in food court why there still stain rice to the utensil so hygiene and sanitation always be priority.

The location is close to Makati shangrila, Raffles Makati, fairmont Makati,Sm makati ,dusit thani, glorrieta and greenbelt

Main road close by Makati ave, Ayala ave, arnaiz Ave and Edsa

It's close to Ayala MRT station need to pass by glorieta and sm Makati to...

You know its sad when you go to another country like the Philippines and the security guards treat you like you are some kind of criminal!! Just because I am dark skin doesn't mean I am going to steal something from the store!! You may like like me and treat me bad but i and the people who look like me haven't done anything to you and your people to keep your country poor!! And have you working for peanuts. The those wht people that you love so much has. But you are not upset with them are you? You treat them like they are your kings and they don't care nothing about you!! If they did they would not be living 10 times better then you in your own country!! Then you have the nerve to follow me around your store as I was going to steal something!! How dare you!! What if someone did you like that if you went to another country. You probably cant because they don't pay you enough!! But you have nerve to not like blk people!! Why? What have they done to you and your people?? Absolutely nothing!! Then you wonder why bad things be happening to you and your people so much?? No matter what you think of blk people they all don't steal just like all of you don't steal!! So stop believing those lies your wht god you love so much tell you!! What you do to others will come back to and your family 10 times more. Just remember that you reap what you sow and GOD...

This Supermarket is located at the basement of Landmark Department Store. Escalators and elevators are available. Parking slots are not a problem, nearest parking is the basement parking connected to Glorietta, another option is the Link, a parking bldg. with Ansons Appliances store on the lower floors. Restroom with many cubicles are also located at the basement 1, in the foodcourt area. The foodcourt area and the Supermarket is both on the same floor level. This supermarket also have a moving ramp going to the ground floor. This is my preferred Supermarket, they have a wide selection of brands. Fresh meat, seafood, vegetables and fruits. I get my favorite kimchi brand here. They also have a wide selection of frozen goods, cold cuts, imported cheese and many more. They have many check out counters and there are counters designated for PWD, Senior Citizen, pregnant women. I have never encountered any rude staff here for the past 15 years until now.

This is one of our favorite supermarkets lately. They usually have most of the items we're looking for, and best thing about this place is their multiple rows and aisles at the checkout. Basket carts run out quickly but the small carts are manageable and maneuverable. I wish other groceries would lubricate their shopping carts' wheels as often as theirs. Staffers are also helpful at the meat, fruit, and produce sections. Cashiers are usually quick. Last thing anyone would want to hear is "Maam/Sir, pavoid po!" If you want higher chances for faster transactions, bring spare change. And if you have a little extra, maybe you could toss some coins in those donation tin cans and help make a difference. If you have baggage to set aside before grocery shopping, they have baggage counters under the escalators near the food court, and even outside the Landmark entrances/exits. Crowded or not, we're still heading back!

TLDR: bring cash, stay away from the Longan. Went this morning, and came back with a bag of Longan. The whole bag had a fermented taste, the fruit was white instead of translucent, and had a hollow void when you squeeze the shell to crack it open. Signs the fruit has been sitting out/drying for a long time (I know what Logan is like off the tree, we still have them in the yard). Second issue was I paid with Apply Pay (contactless) this morning, and tonight a different clerk tells me they don’t take contactless payment…the machine clearly has the contactless symbol, and there are stickers around the counter with the same symbol and VISA…wtf
