Bulabog Beach, located on the eastern side of Boracay, is a paradise for adventure seekers and those looking for a quieter alternative to White Beach. Known as the island’s watersports hub, it’s the best spot for kiteboarding and windsurfing, especially during the Amihan (northeast monsoon) season.
What I Loved:
✔ Watersports Heaven – If you love kiteboarding, windsurfing, or parasailing, this is the best place in Boracay to do it. ✔ Less Crowded – Compared to White Beach, Bulabog is much more peaceful, making it great for relaxation away from the tourist crowds. ✔ Beautiful Sunrise Views – Since it's on the east coast, you can catch a stunning sunrise over the water. ✔ Laid-Back Vibe – The beachfront has a mix of boutique resorts, hostels, and cafés, giving it a chill and relaxed atmosphere.
Things to Consider:
⚠ Not Ideal for Swimming – The beach has seaweed and strong winds most of the year, so it’s not the best for casual swimming. ⚠ Stronger Winds (Seasonal) – From November to April, the wind and waves are strong, making it perfect for water sports but not for sunbathing. ⚠ Less Developed than White Beach – Fewer restaurants and bars compared to Station 2, but still has a good selection of places to eat and stay.
Final Thoughts:
If you’re a kitesurfing or windsurfing enthusiast, Bulabog Beach is a must-visit in Boracay. Even if you’re not into watersports, it’s a peaceful spot to enjoy the sunrise, take a walk, or escape the busier White Beach crowds. Recommended for adventure lovers and those looking for a different...
