The place vibe is great giving! the staff from reception to security guards are all knowledgeable about their craft and approachable to all guests all areas are considered instagramable. I stayed Sunday to Tuesday so i was able to witness the party pool Sunday night with live DJ. I was able also to do some of my work activities on their "chill out" area wherein you can do yoga or have some nap while waiting for your checkin time. It's 3-5 muns away feom bulabog beach and maybe 15mins away from D'Mall bound to white beach station 2. The happiness hostel is near the bulabog ho-ho (hop on and hop off loading and unloading area ) Since it's located in bulabog area it is surrounded by cheapest restaurants or "Karinderia" I highly recommend the place to those solo travellers/backpackers who has the courage to get to know with others and fit to take tye challenge to do some walking coz it's really a bit 15muns away from the crowded place of station 2. the only cons that I've observed is if you book the bunk bed and assigned at the top part bed they should put extra handle for full high ladders. so be very careful coz there's no handle. however the bed is twin size with huge cabined inside, they also provide a locker of every guest (make sure to keep your locker key coz its 500PHP one lost) each pod/capsule or bed has own electric fan but they have very cold AC The bathroom is average with Rainfall shower head and hand held shower heads, they have bidet and small sink with half biody mirror The hostel also has their own restobar w/c is 12nn to 10pm happy hour. wherein you can availa buy1 get 1 fre re-fill cocktails and very affordable price. They also daily schedule yoga, icebath for 450ish PHP and massage price depends on the types and combinations you prefer. so if you are a solo budget traveller that would like to stay away from crowded station 2, I highly...

Lastly, I cannot say enough wonderful things about Paula. She’s more than just a staff member—she’s a rare gem. Her warm, friendly personality, genuine care, and enthusiasm made my stay extra special. I recently stayed at Happiness Hostel (booked via Agoda), and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places for solo travelers and backpackers! From the warm, welcoming vibe to the delicious food and fast WiFi - everything was just right for relaxing, reading, and getting some quiet study time in. Huge thanks to Ms. Kim at the front office, she went above and beyond helping me with my return trip to Caticlan Airport and even followed up to make sure everything was okay. That level of care really stood out. To Kay, your warm water and honey ginger lemon tea became my daily comfort , thank you!
