7Stones Boracay — Hotel in Malay

Having recently stayed at 7Stones Boracay, I can confidently say it offers a truly wonderful experience for those seeking a balance of tranquility and convenient access to Boracay's vibrant attractions. This resort, located on the quieter Bulabog Beach, is a fantastic choice for a relaxing getaway.

Location (4/5): Situated on Bulabog Beach, 7Stones provides a peaceful oasis away from the main crowds of White Beach, yet it's still incredibly convenient. We found it to be an easy and pleasant 5-10 minute walk to D'Mall, the island's main shopping and dining hub, and just a few minutes further to the iconic White Beach. This allowed us to enjoy the lively atmosphere when we wanted and retreat to the calm of 7Stones when we needed to unwind. There are eTrikes a short distance along the beach if you don't want to walk. For watersports enthusiasts, Bulabog Beach is ideal for kitesurfing and other activities, offering a vibrant scene right outside the door.

Rooms and Amenities (5/5): Our ground floor, 1 bedroom junior suite, was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The contemporary design, comfortable furnishings, and well-maintained facilities truly made it feel like a "home away from home." It also included a large balcony with ocean views, which are perfect for enjoying the sunrise. The inclusion of a kitchen is a fantastic bonus, especially for longer stays or families. The resort's pool area is beautiful, with a swim-up bar that adds to the relaxing ambiance. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay, and the smart TVs with streaming options and sound bar/ subwoofer were brilliant.

Service and Staff (5/5): The staff are consistently friendly, and nothing seems to be a problem. I didn't have too much interaction, other than saying hello in passing. Check-in and check out were uneventful.

Unfortunately our stay at 7 Stones was far too brief. Could have happily stayed much longer. We got an incredible deal at 7 Stones and the value was incredible. The room was clean and modern with a huge bathroom. The balcony of our room faced out over the island interior, and was smaller. The interior facing rooms have huge balconies and I imagine more expensive. So the balcony was just big enough to air some clothes. Big smart TV Netflix ready, a fridge, and really good climate control options, amazing fan and Aircon. The hotel itself is in a prime location on Bulabog Beach which is quieter than white beach, and offers a better all round experience with a selection of excellent good value restaurants android cafes down the beach. The hotel has a small beach but its difficult to use as it gets taken over by the selfie circus getting thier Instagram pictures next to the leaning palm trees. Breakfast at the hotel was ok, reasonable for the value. The pool was great, a real bonus, but the seating again can be somewhat ruined by the local tourists wandering in for thier Instagram pictures. Staff were great all round friendly and accommodating. Was really let down by my whole experience here, i had high expectations. Definitely will not ever visit again or recommend to anyone.

Where to start.... egregious service by the ladies at the front desk. Specifically the "operations manager" named Lyn Maravilla. Repeatedly lied to me and played me for a fool. When i asked for clarity none was given.

Was forced to wait 5 hours to check into a room that had not even been cleaned. The tub was disgusting, there were stains and dead bugs on the sheets as well as sticky grime all over the countertops. The water pressure is comical here. Over 90 minutes and the jacuzzi tub wouldn't fill more than 1/4 of the way. I brought this to the front desk's attention and nobody seemed to care. I promptly left and asked to be refunded. To top it all off they did not refund me my money like they said they would. No worries for me, luckily i had them sign a refund document(see attached pic) so my CC will take care of it no questions asked.
