Mecasa Hotel is located in area-1 and there are a lot of convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance from it. The beach is also less than a 10 minuet walk from the hotel. This is the first place I have stayed at in Boracay, and even though the rooms are what most would considered standard, there are two things that make this place stand out; service and the free breakfast.

Every one of the hotel staff that I encountered was not only friendly, but, helpful to the best of their capacity whether it was with offering information or just plain treating you like a friend that is over for a visit.

The free breakfast is light, simple and tasty. I started out with the 'American' breakfast which included toast with butter and jam, two strips of bacon, two sausage links, eggs, fresh fruit and your choice of juice or coffee. You have about 5 different meal choices to choose from aside from that and they all looked tasty and should be filling if you are not an over-eater to begin with (meaning you don't normally have American portion sized meals).

The beds are surprisingly comfortable for how thin the mattress is. I think the mattresses are 100% memory foam, so as long as your weight doesn't displace all the mattress material you should have an excellent nights rest.

Mecasa has a few different room sizes. If you only plan on crashing and not spending any time in the room, the smallest size will be fine if you're a solo traveler. Anything more than that and you'll want to get a bigger room. They also have a two story family room that has a double and single bed if you're traveling in a larger group. The pictures I took were of the...

I love my stay at the beautiful Mecasa Hotel. Contemporary hotel architecture and interior design. Location is convenient & excellent. Only less than 5 mins walk to the white beach & d mall. The bed is very comfortable, I wake up every morning wanting to sleep in longer. *The hotel & rooms is very clean, spacious, airy, cooling. *The shower pressure is good (compare to my friends whom stayed at other hotels say that their water pressure is so low they couldn't shower) *Delicious variety of breakfast, but I love the american breakfast especially every morning *I recommend to arrange with Mecasa front desk for arrangement on activities. Please don't engage with the guides at the beach. They do not honour their words, I agreed on the prices with them on certain activities, the very last minute when we boarded the boat they increased price by 500 each person on helmet diving and give lame excuse price just increase. *I advise buying drinks and snacks at other marts, the "budget mart" is more expensive *The owners and staff at Mecasa Hotel are awesome, they are exceptionally accommodating and their hospitality is second to none *The wifi connection is strong in every room, and internet is considered quite fast in Boracay compared to other hotels (my friends stayed at ibina & boracay haven) and even restaurants are slower *Pls take note that at airport departure terminal there is an "International Passenger Terminal Fee" of 700 per pax, payable at the airport

Overall, I would highly recommend my fellow Malaysian to stay...

Upon arrival to this hotel we arrived quite early in the day, around 11am, we only had to wait about 5 minutes for our room, we were greeted with the wifi password, warm smiles and a welcome drink for each of us. ||||They apologized for some local construction as Boracay is still being redeveloped, but it didn't bother us, I never heard any disturbance and it wasn't the hotels fault, but it was nice of them to give us a heads up, not that it was needed :) ||||The rooms were clean and looked cute, there are cute little sayings placed around the hotel. There is no lift and it's stairs only, but the building isn't that high so there isn't that many flights of stairs, but it's important to note incase you aren't able to climb stairs. ||||The shower is very close to the toilet so the bathroom would get soaked when we had a shower, but it's so hot it would dry by the time we went out and came back home so it was no big deal, and there's warm water yay !!!||||Breakfast was lovely and was complimentary, good sizes and they were accommodating to our needs.||||Really happy with this hotel, you pay for what you get so it may not be a 5 star hotel, but it had everything we need and I was really happy and would definitely stay again.||||It's close to the beach, shops, restaurants / bars and other facilities such as massage / salons, all within walking distance or a short tricycle ride. ||||They took a photo of us when we left, I think for their facebook page - I'm still waiting to see the upload haha !! :)||||Thanks for a...

Mekasa Hotel is a great find for it's value amidst the White Sands of Boracay. From the time we checked-in, and checked- out, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. -They provide free breakfast, it's basic, but it's made with love, and there's nothing more heartwarming than a home cooked meal. -The room provides two beach towels, a King sized Bed with 2 large and 4 small pillows. The room space is big enough to stock your belongings. There's a safe box as well, Aircon smells good and cool enough to make you sleep peacefully. The bathroom provides 2 free soap, a shampoo, and a small bath towel. The shower and Water feels good everytime. Their wifi signal is also amazing. -As for the location, it's near D-mall and a lot of restaurant and Spas are just a few mins walk to the Beach. Boracay is quite expensive, and you can save a lot by walking, and Foot Spas just near Mekasa Hotel is very convenient. P.s When I return to Boracay, I'll book my Hotel accommodation to Mekasa again in a heartbeat. 😊
