Pedestrians are always ignored! I live in Filinvest Alabang, and while I understand that traffic lights are turned off during rush hours so traffic can be managed manually, it’s so frustrating that pedestrians are completely disregarded in the process.
The traffic enforcers almost always prioritize cars and give the “go” signal to vehicles even when pedestrians are already crossing. It’s stressful and unsafe, especially for residents who walk every day.
