Careful you don’t book the ‘student walking tours’ as it was god awful. Barely any information shared just a walk through the old town while they chat amongst themselves. You’d be as well just wandering around Funchal yourself. Otherwise stick to guru walks, shame it’s at 5.30pm though. The cheek to demand a €14 fee per person too, it’s usually voluntary fee to what you feel it’s worth. Worst walking tour we’ve personally had, learnt nothing about the city other than the old bakery and the street which caught fire.
