Sahat Tower (Сахат кула) – Belgrade’s Timeless Landmark

Sahat Tower, located within the Kalemegdan Fortress, is one of Belgrade’s most charming historical landmarks. Built in the 18th century, it served as the fortress’s official clock tower and still stands proudly above the Stambol Gate, overlooking the entrance to the upper fortress.

While you can't go inside the tower, it’s a striking sight and a perfect starting point for exploring Kalemegdan.
