Bratislava City Gallery — Attraction in Bratislava

We paid 6€ for only one of the palaces (Mirbachov) which only had a few rooms with a few baroque paintings and statues. No exposition at the time. A bit of a rip-off, left us very disappointed and we just decided not to visit the other palace as we were afraid of a similar experience. The museum has 5 floors of art, where the lower are focused on traditional art and the top modern and installation art. Be aware that you'll have to pay €1 to take photos of the art. I really enjoyed the modern art which I thought was fantastic, especially the hallway of books....

Diciamo che si tratta di un museo comunale. Con una struttura simile a un altro museo non lontano, il Pàlffy Palace. Anche in questo caso si tre livelli. Al piano terra in laboratorio con una installazione che consente di localizzare le foto di monumenti cittadini, foto di un noto fotografo (nell'altro museo sempre lui con il tema gipsy). Al primo piano da un lato quadri sul tema della città di Bratislava e dall'altra parte quadri barocchi. Qui c'è un cosiddetto gabinetto di immagini, la collezione completa è di 300 stampe, sono stampe collocate sulle pareti in legno. L'effetto è molto interessante. All'ultimo piano, il secondo, installazioni di arte moderna, sul tema femminile.
