I’d actually give 3.5 stars, but will round it to 4 for multiple positive sides.
The place is really in the city center, resonably accessible on foot and even with your car (we parked close behind it). The staff is very very kind and helpful, although it is half-self-service place where you order at the cashier’s desk, pay, and wait for your food at the table.
We had the larger fish (carp) soup which is HUGE and suitable for two people. Nicely seasoned also because of the extra lime and chilly and herbs you get on the side - however, the carp was very dry inside and not as yummy as this fish can be. Rice noodles with shrimps and pork (guangnam style) were very large as well and also came with the herb salad side to make them taste better, but these were desperately under seasoned and lacked anything actually - we took these home and put soy sauce on them because of that. We also had fried spring rolls with meat which were really meaty, and not bad at all.
Overall a nice experience from the human point of view, but the tastes fell behind a bit. Still a nice, not totally budget-friendly but authentic-feeling bistro to try (and get...
Read moreGreat place for vietnamise cuisine. Around lunch really busy so finding a place to sit can be a problem. I recommend looking inside first and if the queue is too long just order by phone and wait outside next to the takeaway window for telephonic orders. I really like the daily box menu which changes everyday and the price/value ratio is just awesome :) I also tried Pho, Bun Bo Nam Bo and chicken curry. All are great :). Beware that you wont get the food right away at the cashier, but you will get number and the waiter will find you by the number. Also waiting time for different foods vary. Even the same food can one day take 3 mins and the other day more than 15. Appearently it depends on the number of orders and also time of the day. But we were always satified with the food. So I definitely recommend this place for lunch or...
Read moreIt is one of my favorites in Bratislava. The quality of the food is good as well as the quantity. You get a half service (you get to order at the cashier but the waiter/waitress will deliver the order). The price of the food ranges from 3-6 euros. It is heavily crowded during lunch time (12-2) mainly the customers are coming from Amazon. Amazon customers get a 10% discount which is a good bargain for customers who go frequently. They also serve juices, beers and soft drinks and they have a selection of juices from Ugo (chain that makes fresh juices). My favorite meal is the chicken rizotto but careful it is a big portion so be sure you are really hungry when ordering this meal. I highly recommend dining there. Below picture is breaded duck breast with thick noodles. (chrunkova kačica z...
