Besides being in a helicopter 🚁 , this is probably the best birds eye view you can get of the harbour!! Love how safe and clean the air conditioned cabins are, they’re beautifully crafted glass boxes. The VIP box allows for uninterrupted panoramic photos and the dark tinted glass helps with the glare from the sun ☀️ If you are a professional photographer then I’d opt for VIP 🎡 Not even rough winds would make me question the stability of the wheel. Staff are always friendly! I was at the wheel during the pandemic, and really respect their company policy around hygiene and customer safety. Each and every cabin was wiped spotless before a new customer could be seated. I hope they keep investing in staff training to uphold their high germ free standards 🦠 ✅ Last year June, just before they deconstructed it and moved it to breakwater. So feel blessed to have been there to witness the final rides. The new spot gives you 360 degree views of the waters edge, Table Mountain and lions head ⛰ I’m hoping to catch sight of the dolphins 🐬 at breakwater on my next trip on the wheel!

What I can tell you about the wheel is it looks like it would be fun to go on the wheel. The place we're it's situated is the ideal location. It's full of energy and you have everything and more to do and to go to.I have spoken to people that went on the wheel and they all say that it is one of the must see attractions if you in Cape Town. Being someone that is looking from the outside inwards when it comes to The Cape Wheel, I will let you know about my experience. Here is some pictures to look at that you can see how beautiful it looks from a far. I will give update as soon as I went on The Wheel. So today (22/10/2019) I went on the wheel and it was something different. If you have a fear of heights I would not recommend you to go on this ride. You are on it for 10 minutes but it felt like a life time to me. I did all funny things and my heart rate was so high you wouldn't believe, but it was worth it everyone. This is a must feel and see experience if you Cape Town, South Africa.

Our little girl has never been able to experience the ferris 🎡 due to covid and I must say what a pleasant experience we had from the arrival time , we had no que of cos and went on week night just on sunset. We had a lovely set of famous family pictures in different cape town table mountain settings and the capsule was completely wiped and sanitized just before our eyes, this sets your mind at ease immediately especially since it is the waterfront one expects heavy traffic. My kids and I love the sunset and you have sooo many different views from above, even with our suid ooster winde, the capsule felt secure as we spinned our way through sunset😄 our ride was pleasant and memorable all the way, thanks to the awesome staff for there welcoming and efficiency of keeping us safe, this attraction is highly recommended if you love sunsets and can be enjoyed by young and old...if you afraid of heights....just don't look down😀👌👌👌

Overpriced in my honest opinion. They take photos of you before you get on but then don’t give you the photo at the end. I mean the ticket is R155 per person for the 15 minute ride, I would think that the photo is included. Either way it wasn’t such a big deal. But when we said no thanks to what I thought was anyway bad quality prints the lady looked at us disgusted like how dare we not buy them after they already printed it 😂 we didn’t ask for the photos but anyway the view was still great! Our phones did a great job at taking our own photos and R5 of the ticket price goes to charity which is cool 💪 Stunning views! And I would recommend doing it at golden hour too.

Bought tickets 2 weeks before the time. There was no wait. The ride is about 10 to 12 min long. Smooth and slow. You have enough time to enjoy the views. We stopped twice while our booth was hanging right on top. I am a bit nervous of heights but it wasn't too nerve-wracking. They do take photos before you go on the wheel without asking, if you want photos and when you done with the ride they tell you its R230 you can leave it or take it but its printed already, and you get a Qr code where you can get more digital prints with different backgrounds, only if you pay the R230 thats all part of the package. It was nice day trip activity to Waterfront in school holidays

Decent experience, just about OK but not great ! Goes up and down 5 times. First stop for a few extra seconds, then onwards it is a continuous motion. The good part is that it is climate controlled which is needed in a closed glass box 📦 🤔 The bad part is the EYESORE on the left side which is the nasty broken rooftop of the building next to it. It's an absolute PHOTOBOMB and it kills all the romance and the views towards the Harbour. I would recommend that the guys there spend a small amount of money and atleast whitewash the roof next to the attraction. Tickets are EXPENSIVE - but the poor sight of the untidy roof next to it makes it worse. Won't go again.
