During my recent trip to Cape Town with friends, we had the chance to experience the Cape Wheel, and it was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. The location of the Cape Wheel is perfect, right at the V&A Waterfront, offering a stunning view of both the city and the ocean. The ride itself is smooth and relaxing, with large, comfortable cabins that offer panoramic views of the city, Table Mountain, Robben Island, and the surrounding coastline. We all loved the 360-degree views and the opportunity to snap some fantastic photos. It’s a perfect activity whether you're visiting Cape Town for the first time or you're a local looking to rediscover the beauty of the city. The staff was friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. We went during the late afternoon, and as the sun set, the city began to light up, which made the view even more spectacular. The Cape Wheel is a must-do for anyone visiting Cape Town, offering an amazing vantage point of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Highly recommend it for a fun, relaxing, and memorable experience with friends!

Besides being in a helicopter 🚁 , this is probably the best birds eye view you can get of the harbour!! Love how safe and clean the air conditioned cabins are, they’re beautifully crafted glass boxes. The VIP box allows for uninterrupted panoramic photos and the dark tinted glass helps with the glare from the sun ☀️ If you are a professional photographer then I’d opt for VIP 🎡 Not even rough winds would make me question the stability of the wheel. Staff are always friendly! I was at the wheel during the pandemic, and really respect their company policy around hygiene and customer safety. Each and every cabin was wiped spotless before a new customer could be seated. I hope they keep investing in staff training to uphold their high germ free standards 🦠 ✅ Last year June, just before they deconstructed it and moved it to breakwater. So feel blessed to have been there to witness the final rides. The new spot gives you 360 degree views of the waters edge, Table Mountain and lions head ⛰ I’m hoping to catch sight of the dolphins 🐬 at breakwater on my next trip on the wheel!

What I can tell you about the wheel is it looks like it would be fun to go on the wheel. The place we're it's situated is the ideal location. It's full of energy and you have everything and more to do and to go to.I have spoken to people that went on the wheel and they all say that it is one of the must see attractions if you in Cape Town. Being someone that is looking from the outside inwards when it comes to The Cape Wheel, I will let you know about my experience. Here is some pictures to look at that you can see how beautiful it looks from a far. I will give update as soon as I went on The Wheel. So today (22/10/2019) I went on the wheel and it was something different. If you have a fear of heights I would not recommend you to go on this ride. You are on it for 10 minutes but it felt like a life time to me. I did all funny things and my heart rate was so high you wouldn't believe, but it was worth it everyone. This is a must feel and see experience if you Cape Town, South Africa.

he Cape Wheel, standing tall against the vibrant backdrop of Cape Town's iconic waterfront, is a beacon of modern wonder that offers a bird's-eye view of this captivating city. Having had the pleasure of experiencing it firsthand, I can attest that it's an absolute gem in the crown of Cape Town's attractions.

From the moment you step into one of its spacious, climate-controlled cabins, anticipation builds as you're gently lifted into the sky. As the wheel begins its slow rotation, the city unfolds beneath you like a vibrant tapestry, revealing its rich tapestry of history, culture, and natural beauty.

What sets the Cape Wheel apart is its unparalleled perspective. From this lofty vantage point, you can gaze out across the bustling harbor, where ships of all shapes and sizes come and go against the backdrop of Table Mountain. You can trace the curve of the coastline, dotted with sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, stretching as far as the eye can see.

But it's not just about the views; it's about the experience. The gentle sway of the cabin, the hushed murmur of fellow passengers, and the sense of serenity that envelops you as you soar above the city—all combine to create a moment of pure magic.

Whether you're a first-time visitor looking to get acquainted with Cape Town or a seasoned local seeking a fresh perspective, the Cape Wheel offers an unforgettable journey through the heart of this vibrant metropolis. It's an experience that's as exhilarating as it is enchanting, and one that will leave you with memories to treasure...
