A Magical Christmas and Birthday at H10 Gran Tinerfe! We had the most unforgettable stay at the H10 Gran Tinerfe over Christmas, which also included my birthday on Christmas Eve. The hotel made it a truly special celebration, going above and beyond in every way imaginable. Birthday & Christmas Surprises: On Christmas Eve, I was completely spoiled by the hotel staff. Without even asking, they surprised me with a bottle of fizz and a beautifully presented cake—it was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. It made my birthday feel incredibly special and added a personal touch to the already amazing festive atmosphere. The Festive Atmosphere & Christmas Day Magic: The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with twinkling lights and festive touches throughout. On Christmas Day, the gala meal was absolutely fantastic. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere was warm and joyful, and the live entertainment added a touch of elegance to the celebration. At noon, the cleaning and cooking staff were all presented to the guests, and it was such a joyful experience. Each of them had a glass of fizz in hand, and they were laughing, joking, and clearly enjoying themselves. Their happiness was infectious, and before we knew it, we were all laughing and joking along with them. It created such a warm and lively vibe, bringing everyone together to celebrate. Moments like that are what make Christmas magical. Entertainment Highlights – Sangria Making! The entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic and really added to the fun. One of the highlights of our stay was attending a sangria-making lesson. We thought we knew what sangria tasted like—turns out we’d never had the real thing before. Now we have, and it was absolutely delicious! The staff made the lesson fun, interactive, and engaging, and we came away not only with new skills but also with big smiles and great memories. Rooms, Location & Beach Access: Our room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, with a balcony offering breathtaking sea views. One of the highlights of the hotel is the entrance that leads directly onto the beach—it’s so convenient and adds to the relaxing vibe. The location is perfect, with the beach just steps away and plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Dining: The food at the H10 Gran Tinerfe was exceptional from start to finish. The buffet offered a fantastic variety of dishes, from fresh seafood to indulgent desserts. The à la carte restaurant was also a highlight, with exquisite food and top-notch service. Facilities & Staff: The pools and spa were fantastic, offering a peaceful retreat with plenty of sunbeds available. However, it’s the staff who truly make this hotel stand out. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about making your stay unforgettable. Their kindness and attention to detail, especially with the birthday and Christmas touches, were second to none. A Note About the Resort: While our stay at the hotel was flawless, the resort itself had one downside—so many electric scooters. They’re fast, quiet, and often ridden recklessly by young people, which can feel quite disturbing and dangerous. While it’s not the hotel’s fault, it’s something to be aware of if you’re visiting the area. Overall: From the festive atmosphere to the thoughtful surprises, my birthday and Christmas at the H10 Gran Tinerfe were absolutely magical. The sangria-making lesson, the staff presentation on Christmas Day, and the gala meal made our stay unforgettable. Despite the issue with electric scooters in the resort, we had a perfect holiday and can’t wait to return.

Just come back from a 10 day trip Tenerife and H10 Gran Tinerfe made the trip very pleasant. We opted for the all inclusive package witch made holidaying less stressful as you're not constantly thinking about where to eat. Food Lunch/Dinner The buffet was okay, there was always something that even the fussy eaters would eat but there were occasions where i was served raw chicken (From the grill not buffet). The bread was always so hard that there was no point in even attempting to eat it. The staff were very attentive, checking if you wanted more drinks and also clearing up plates quickly. The restaurant that looks out over the beach at the front was very good. Lunch is included in this restaurant with the all inclusive and its defiantly not one to miss. The buffet cooks need to take note on how to prepare food from these guys. Breakfast This is where it falls flat unfortunately. The bacon was just awful. It was like eating a leather wallet. Very over done but also sometimes it was so under cooked it looked like it was shown the oven door and then put on the side to serve. Sausages were very bland, 100% need to source some better quality ingredients. The orange juice was so watered down that it was basically water with some bit and a slight hint of orange. Pool What a fantastic pool/bar area this hotel has. The pools were nice and warm with plenty of space to have a nice swim either as a group or by yourself. Bar by the pool was great as well and very handy with the all inclusive. The foam party's were great fun and a good idea to shake things up a little! Overall there was so much to do that some days we didn't even leave the hotel. Rooms So we went for just your standard double room with sea view and over all it was clean and well kept. The aircon does work well if the cleaners don't switch it off while you're out. We had a room that faced the south so in the afternoon it would have the sun on the room... Issue was the cleaners had switched out aircon off so the room was hotter than it was outside and would take another 2 or so hours to cool back down. TV was fine, plugged my iPad into that with a HDMI adapter from home for Netflix's and Disney plus. Has loads of UK channels though if you're not bringing your own devices to watch tv. Bathrooms were nice and clean and have all the essentials in there that you need. WIFI was decent throughout the hotel, Not the best speeds at night time during peak times but that's to be expected with a massive hotel with lots of people accessing the internet. My advice to the hotel though on the WIFI... look at upgrading the Ruckus system to something like Meraki or Ubiquity, i noticed a few times the access points lost connection to to Zone director leaving the entire hotel without internet access for a few hours.. you won't have them issue with Meraki or Ubiquiti. Location I'd say its almost perfectly placed. 6 min walk to Siam Park, 25 min walk down to the main strip where hard rock cafe is. Close to the harbor and when we were picked up for excursions we were pretty close to all the destinations. Overall I would stay there again. Thank you for a memorable stay H10

A few things have started to grind on me during my 10 day stay in June 2023- Cannot leave towels on beds on a morning before 10am, however there have been arguments and confusion by guests thinking their beds have been claimed due to staff removing their towels and placing them elsewhere. There are no signs to inform people of this either. You only get one towels for the pool for the duration of your stay, otherwise you have to pay extra each day Snacks are very limited, they advertise Nachos but NEVER have them in stock haha The bar closes for all inclusive people at 12:00 midnight, but if you want to pay for drinks you can until 1pm, what's all that about??? The cocktails are terrible, I understand a lot of people want them but they're barely shaken and don't taste good The food is decent, if you're British it's similar to a Taybarns but not as good as a Cosmos. You'll probably find something you like and there is a wide selection Hotel is fairly clean and the appliances are hit and miss, you won't find an iron but you can rent one or buy one locally for 10 euros. Not all rooms have a coffee machine, again it's hit or miss so if your room has one we'll done! Otherwise you need to rent one from the reception I think the bars need more staff making drinks, on occasions there are only one or two people, but I think it needs at least three. I've also seen a few of the higher up staff tell off the lower staff and leaving a frosty atmosphere especially if they're serving you Minimum x2 drinks can be ordered, so if you're in a party of 4 you'll need to bring along another person otherwise they won't let you take more. This is also dependant on whom serves you, as not all staff did this Location is in the middle of nowhere, and you'll need to walk a mile in either direction for evening entertainment. If you are happy with staying in the hotel complex you'll find it OK Just a few things thats been on my mind, I feel I'm too young for this hotel, it's like a pensioners resort (no offense intended) the hotel has lovely scenery and great views of the sunset, I'll attach a couple for you

Stayed here for 10 nights (9th - 19th September 2024), all inclusive around £1550 PP (including flights etc). Overall I found the staff very friendly and accommodating, 3 good sized pools to choose from, plenty of sunbeds, activities going on, food was lovely, there is another restaurant / a coffee and ice cream place on site, a small gym open from 7am - 9pm, Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Close to the beach for a chance of scenery, water sports not too far and plenty of bars and little souvenir shops / supermarkets around the area. Somethings I didn't really like with the hotel included: •The sunbed situation - you're not allowed to reverse a sunbed before 10am (if you sit there the whole time you're OK but you can't reserve and go to breakfast for example) one day we reserved a couple and found the workers had taken our towels off and placed them behind our beds with a note to say you can't reverse them. Lesson learnt and afterwards I saw it on the notice board by the pools. The hotel me and my partner stayed in last year you could reserve a bed by 6am and it was your spot for the day. We did have a bit of an incident with a foreign couple whose English wasn't the greatest, they reserved the sunbeds we was on (at the point we got there, no towels was on the sunbed) and I think they got the impression we moved their towels so I think moving forward reception should maybe put in their information leaflet you get when you arrive about it and verbally let you know as I saw a few people get caught out on it, just to avoid issues. •water stations There was no self-service water stations anywhere, at breakfast you had one and there is one behind the bar but it's a bit of a pain queuing with people who want beers and alcohol just for a bottle filled with water, I've stayed in a hotel previously in Tenerife where they had self-service water stations by the pools and even a beer tap you can help yourself to. Overall was a lovely holiday, probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again due to many other options available in the area of Tenerife

Had our vacation here two years in a row. Love this hotel it’s in such a perfect location, its out of the main tourist areas. It’s not loud in the evenings apart from the hotel entertainment but that stops at 10/11ish. 20 min walk from activity’s and shops. Use a wrist band to get in and out of ur room and to order food and drinks etc. it’s a luxury hotel everyone calls it the honeymoon hotel. Feels romantic and great for couples. Adults only and loads of outside loungers. You don’t need to fight for a lounger which is great. There are three main outdoor pools which are perfect. Few jacuzzis around the hotel and balcony’s. There is also one ping pong and snooker table which I didn’t realise until the last night. The buffet restaurant is perfect, something for everyone and always change it up each day. Hotel staff are lovely and attentive. Used the spa for the welcome massage which was lovely! 35£ for 30mins. Would recommend! There is a small gym and yoga room which is nice to have and looks out on one of the pools. The entertainment is always fun. We rented the elec scooters some days to get around if didn’t want to walk. There scattered around the area. Highly recommend you won’t b disappointed. 20/30 min journey from the nearest airport (£25/30 taxi drive) can walk to Siam park if u wanted to, so close. The view out the balcony is stunning can see the sunset every evening! The balcony at the restaurant is a must! The bed is huge! And very comfy. Three big pillows which are soft and hard so nice to have the option of either. They make the bed and change the towels and clean the room everyday. Mini fridge and alarm clock available. Two supermarkets are close to the hotel. Will defo be visiting again we love it!

Aanrader!
