Mr. Singh — Restaurant in Adeje

To be honest my experience with the restaurant Mr.Singh is worth a big ZERO. After reading the reviews on Google I decided to order dinner for me and my girlfriend through the app GLOVO. After placing the order it was accepted and confirmed by the restaurant very quickly. I could follow the ETA on the app, which btw kept getting delayed over and over again. After 45 minutes the food was ready to be delivered and I even got the name of the driver, who was supposed to deliver the food. But 15 minutes later the order was canceled by the restaurant “out of the blue” So after waiting 1 hour for my order they simply decided to cancel it. I decided to call the restaurant and ask why the order was cancelled. They informed me that they couldn’t proceed with the order through the platform GLOVO, because GLOVO “apparently” don’t pay the restaurant. Well at least according to what the restaurant owner says. Besides the owner promised me that I would get the food, if I was willing to replace the order through their WhatsApp, which I did. I got a new confirmation really quickly and was told the food would be delivered in 45 minutes. The problem is, they never showed up with the food. I was very patient and waited around 1 hour even though, they told me the food would be delivered in 45 minutes. When I texted them and I asked how close they were, they visualized but ignored my message. I had to write them a few times in order to get a reply. After 1.15 minutes(more than 2 hours since I placed the order for the 1st time) he replied me that they would come asap. They kept me waiting and never showed up. Im usually understanding and patient, but I have to admit that, I never ever experienced such a disrespect and lack of care towards a client, as I’ve experienced with Mr. Singh. I could have order food from any other place, but by the time I realized they wouldn’t come it was already 23.15 o clock and therefore all the restaurants were closed for delivery. My biggest mistake was to believe them even after they canceled the order for the 1st time after 1 hour. I thought they would fix things, but they ended making it even worse. Beware the food might never come if you decide to order...

Myself and a few friends visited Mr Singh's after reading the reviews and we have to admit, we were not disappointed! The food was full of flavour and spice, and being from the Punjabi background and living in an area in London that has loads of authentic punjabi pubs/restaurants, Mr Singhs definitely exceeded our expectation. The restaurant was clean, had indoor and outdoor seating and had a Punjabi vibe with Punjabi music! The waiters were ever so helpful and attentive and built a good relationship with us from the beginning. We ordered the Mixed Grill for starter which as decent but not the best, however for mains, we had Chicken Curry, Lamb Curry and Prawn Curry with Garlic Naan and Rice and each dish was full of flavour and was SO yummy. At the end of the trip, we rated our dinners from the best to worst and Mr Singhs was in the top two from everyone! Highly recommended and we will definitely attend again if were ever back...

Lovely place and great staff, but the food was below par!! Ordered the Mr Singh special starter. The chicken was tough. The presentation was good but the taste was disappointing. The poppadums were microwaved and not fully done. Methi lamb was bland pieces in a curry sauce. For a Punjabi, I am Sure Mr Singh has not tasted it otherwise he would not have served it. The butter chicken was an embarrassment. The naans were good but part it was more raw than the rest of it. Palak paneer would have satisfied the Europeans but the paneer was hard and tasteless. I saw quite a few customers not finishing the Chicken tikka. That rang alarm bells!! The 2 star was for friendly staff and welcoming folks. If you are an Indian I would avoid this place.
