A beautiful, underrated beach. Playa de Torviscas is a decent sized beach, despite the large size it is often very busy; especially around 12-3pm. It is very difficult to find a sun bed around these times so if you would like them, I recommend coming as early as possible. The sand on the beach is grey/black. There is a lot of bars/restaurants/shops around the beach. Street vendors are often found here, and they are very pushy and sometimes won't leave you alone. The waves are usually pretty calm, depending on the wind levels. The first day we came it was impossible to swim because the wind was so prominent. But when there is less wind the water is pretty calm There are also bathrooms here, although they really aren't the best. The few times I went i found that there was no toilet paper, or it was dirty and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing visually if that matters to one. Watersport activities are also available here. I would say the beach is definitely worth paying a visit to and you could definitely spend a full day here.

Staying at GF FANABE in Tenerife which is very good it's a big hotel.Doing bed and breakfast. There is a lot of choice for you to choose from. Our room is good and comfy beds the only problem with it is above the Dustbins and it's rather noise when Dustbins men comes at 4am in the morning .There is a market just above the Hotel on a Thursday and Sunday mornings. There are plenty of restaurant to eat at or you can eat at hotel for a price. The Beach is just down a small hill with a few shops and more restaurant. For 2 Sun beds and umbrella it will cost you 15 euros We travelled with Jet2 .

HOVIMA COSTA ADEJE (Hotel) Not much to dislike about this place. Staff are friendly & welcoming. They work really hard to keep the hotel spotless. We had room 909 which had a great side sea view. Rooms are compact but adequate. Love that the bathroom offers an element of privacy due to the room design, that said the door is glass so not much in the way of soundproofing! Wardrobe has no doors, a nuisance if you wish to store something privately whilst away. The pool area, saw 2 cockroaches scurrying around but ….. this is just nature and def not down to lack of cleanliness at the hotel. The pool gets sun on the right as you look at the beach from 10am, closer to the hotel (I.e. the left as you look at the beach) you’ll be waiting til at least 11 / 12am. This causes queues at 8am in readiness for the sunbed stampede when the doors open at 8.30! I believe there is a policy of not reserving sun beds but never saw this enforced. Food - lots of choice, mainly good quality but sadly most was lukewarm and, very heavy handed with garlic - some so strong just couldn’t eat them! Drinks - cocktails are slushy out of a machine. Hotel is in a really good location for shops, bars, restaurants and beaches 5-10 mins walk. Airport about 20 mins. Overall a good value...

3.5. Nice sandy beach with a family atmosphere- at least in February. Lovely clean sea.sand mostly spotless except for some cigarette butts. Shallows give way to deeper water not too far out. Super blue. Overlooked by fabulous mountains high behind the town. Basic public toilets but kept clean and supplied with toilet paper. Area immediately above very run down and in despair. Some of the pathways to the car parks nearby broken and dirty. McDonald's and some of the other bars a bit poor. Seats/sun loungers available at a couple of different places. Beach volleyball courts. Beach is smallish but beautiful sand and sea. Immediate surroundings...
