Restaurant Odissea — Restaurant in Adeje

The Oddesea is literally our favourite place in Tenerife. The cocktails are €4.50 and they don’t add tax on top like a lot of other bars.

The ‘Fried Camembert’ tapas dish is absolutely amazing with the cranberry sauce. My partner and I spend most of our holiday at the Odissea because there literally isn’t anywhere better to go. There’s even a lovely beach right outside to paddle or swim in.

We always stagger when we leave so we can tell that the cocktails aren’t poor quality as far as alcohol goes.

It’s really strange that the Odissea isn’t always completely crammed all the time but it seems like a beautiful Jewell that hasn’t been discovered by the masses. Our bill is always surprisingly low for the quality and quantity we receive here. Make sure you stop by; you will definitely...

J'avais passé une excellente journée jusqu'à ce que je décide de manger en famille dans ce restaurant.

Au moment de s'installer à table un cafard énorme venant de la cuisine a traversé la salle et passé sous notre table. Le bon côté est que ça a mis de l'animation pour certains touristes et les enfants, mais ma femme a voulu partir sans attendre.

Nous sommes quand même restés pour commander nos plats. Paella sans aucune saveur à base de produits décongelés, Pizza remplie de lardons et d'oignons et sangria sans goût.

Une mise en scène est faite (vaisselle, table servante et la manière d'être servi) pour donner l'illusion d'un certain standing. Il manquait juste des serveurs en file indienne pour nous servir.

2 ou 3 cafards sont passés à côté de nous pendant le repas, ce qui était franchement pas agréable.

Repas interrompu toutes les 2 minutes par des vendeurs à la sauvette.

Je suis allé payer au comptoir et quand j'ai vu l'état de propreté j'ai été choqué : un des membres du personnel remplissait à 2 mètres de moi un caddie avec les poubelles et les détritus de la cuisine, pour traverser la salle avec jusqu'au trottoir.

Je suis surpris de voir autant d'avis positifs pour cet établissement vu la qualité des plats et l'hygiène déplorable.

I had a great day until I decided to eat with my family in this restaurant.

When we were about to sit down at the table, a huge cockroach from the kitchen crossed the room and went under our table. The good side is that it brought some entertainment to some tourists and the children, but my wife wanted to leave without waiting.

We still stayed to order our dishes. Paella without any flavor made from defrosted products, Pizza filled with bacon and onions and tasteless sangria.

A scene is made (dishes, table service and the way of being served) to give the illusion of a certain standing. The only thing missing was waiters in single file to serve us.

2 or 3 cockroaches passed by us during the meal, which was frankly not pleasant.

Meal interrupted every 2 minutes by street vendors.

I went to pay at the counter and when I saw the state of cleanliness I was shocked: one of the staff members was filling a shopping cart 2 meters away from me with trash and kitchen waste, to cross the room to the sidewalk.

We found this restaurant three days into our holiday Before that we had had some very poor meals , we then ate here 3 times,the restaurant is in a stunning location looking onto the beach and next to the harbour,I had lasagne once and fillet steak twice cooked to perfection my partner had spaghetti Bolognese and salads which she said were the best of the holiday the drinks and cocktails were very generous and reasonably priced the service was excellent and very attentive , we can highly recommend restaurant odissea for lovely meals and excellent cocktails and the filet steak with Roquefort sauce...
