Café Victoria — Restaurant in Adeje

We visited here after coming straight off a mini cruise in the harbour.

We were only after something quick to eat on the beach with our 1 and 4 year old. We couldn't see chips (french fries) on the menu, but when we asked the gentleman behind the counter, he knew exactly what we meant.

The owner has great English, when we asked about allergies, as my wife and daughter have a milk and soya allergy, he knew exactly what oil they cooked on and what allergens where in the french fries, so was able to answer our query straight away.

DO NOT go here. I work in Puerto Colon and I wanted a take away coffee. I ordered a coffee and paid her €2 while she was making it, when I went to pick my coffee up and leave she said I hadn’t paid and wanted another €2. After a couple of minutes arguing with her and demonstrating that that was my last €2 in change and showed her my empty pockets, she still insisted I hadn’t paid. A little gem in Puerto Colón! Delicious coffee, fresh croissants, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The owner always greets you with a genuine smile – as if he’s known you for years. The early opening hours are a big plus, especially for early birds. What really stands out to me is that all the locals eat here – the entire port staff chooses this spot for their break.
