Read moreStumbled upon the Colombo Town Hall while exploring the city, and I'm really glad I did! The building is super impressive - looks a bit like a mini version of the White House with its grand white dome and colonial architecture.
You can't always go inside, but even from the outside, it's a great spot for some quick photos and a quiet moment. The grounds are well-kept, and there's a nice green space right across from it (Viharamahadevi Park), which makes it a peaceful area to relax for a bit.

Starting from Victoria Memorial in Kolkata to Tajhat Jamindar House in Rangpur, to the Supreme Court of Bangladesh to many others. The visual similarities are unmatched. There is a park right opposite to it which exhibits healthy and happy citizen life. It is also a major bus station in the surrounding.
