The wonderful museum of modern art in Basel seems to me to be not only a unique architectural structure of our time, but also a meeting place for people who are in love with art, a place for discussion and knowledge. I enjoy it a lot, and of course - I really liked the exhibition of El Greco and Picasso!

Beautiful building! We passed by and entered because the building looks amazing. We didn't visit the exhibitions because the entrance fee was quite expensive. But totally worth the visit though!

And so one finds oneselves in a great place with lots of excellent temporary exhibitions by female artist. Next to the biggest names of contemporary art. Incredible experience.

Sehr schöner Bau , gross und angenehm zum Begehen, in den Treppenhäusern ein wenig grau , machts so chli düster, Basel hat soviel Geld für Kunst. Die Ausstellung von Louise Bourgeois ist so top, die kann dir was flüstern, und machts auch, sehr schönes Zeugs. Die Sachen von Beuys sind auch noch top, irgendwie so schräg, einfach so Gegenstände, z.T. unidentifizierbar, das letzte was man vor dem Abruch aus einem Keller noch mitnehmen würde, aber nur wenn man einen Plastiksack bei sich hat...

Wunderschöner Bau. Interessante Fassade. Tolle Ergänzung zum Kunstmuseum Hauptbau. Sind nicht so oft hier, daher jetzt erst zu einem Besuch gekommen. Die Ausstellungen von Charmion von Wiegand, Andrea Büttner und Shirley Jaffe haben uns sehr beeindruckt. Die Räumlichkeiten auch. Ästhetisch sehr schöne auch große klare Räume. Die Beleuchtung natürlich und auch künstlich gut durchdacht. Hier hat sich jemand wirklich Gedanken gemacht und etwas beeindruckendes gebaut. Kommen wieder.

I wasn't expecting to see that many good pieces of classic and modern art together. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy fine arts.
