It may seem like a glumly and boring building from the outside (like a locked bunker when all the windows shutters are closed) but the inside is terrific. Covered in a mono chrome grey the elegant interior fascinates with it’s original mixture of chosen materials: rough concrete, grey stone and galvanized steel.

The wonderful museum of modern art in Basel seems to me to be not only a unique architectural structure of our time, but also a meeting place for people who are in love with art, a place for discussion and knowledge. I enjoy it a lot, and of course - I really liked the exhibition of El Greco and Picasso!

I have to say up front, I am NOT an art snob. I don't understand a piece of fence nailed to a wall, and somehow, that is art. But nonetheless, this place is highly rated. So if you are into this stuff, this is a good place for you to visit.
