Caricature & Cartoon Museum Basel — Attraction in Basel

Art lovers might regularly prefer the Kunstmuseum or the Gegenwartskunstmuseum, the Beyeler Foundation or the Tinguly, but that might prove to be a mistake, since Cartoon Museum Basel is one of the best of it's genre, and very much inclined towards the artistic aspect of the medium. Visited today as I saw signs in the street and it sounded interesting. I did not know what to expect as I know nothing about cartoons. I left more aware about the art form and actually quite moved by one of the works, 'Here'. For 7CHF this was well worth the money. The lockers are free and the member of staff on the front desk was friendly. The only critique I have is it would be good to have some signs for to direct you around...
