2 out of 5 stars is for the very basic fact that the overall value was not there. Starting with that were charged 4.50 fr. each for three glasses of tap water. Now before management replies to me ‘this is normal is Switzerland’, I’ve lived here for a very very long time so I am used to paying the service charge on tap water, but 4.50 fr for a single glass (and we ordered 3 glasses without the server offering a bottle or caraffe) is simply greedy and absolutely out of line. Food was decent, decor as well, portion sizes were smaller side (wife left hungry), no fresh bread offered with goulash. The server failed to give me an itemized bill so I regret missing this hidden charge before I settled the bill (I was in a hurry). Overall the value was off per plate and the water price sent me over the edge on value. We won’t visit again.

I'd like to add, after the restaurant has replied to my comments, that if you are sponsoring a water program that this needs to be outlined clearly on your offering (menu) and your staff needs to tell people that this is happening so one can choose to order or not after being fully informed. I don't need 'extra minerals', 4.50 fr. is still too outrageous a price. Secondly, ask for seconds? What world are you living in? That is so completely outrageous that I can't stop shaking my head at this comment. No restaurant in the world, except for all-you-can-eat buffets suggest you ask for more. Again, if this is a novel approach to guest satisfaction, put it in big letters on your menu.

nach meiner ersten bewertung (2 sterne, siehe unten) habe ich mit Nicole kontakt aufgenommen. schon das angebot, uns drei einzuladen hat uns sehr beeindruckt, wie das dann alles ablief, hat alles übertroffen! eigentlich 5 sterne plus! nun waren wir letzten samstag (april 2023) da und wir hatten einen wundervollen abend!!! Riccardo hat freundlich und immer aufmerksam durch den abend orchestriert (danke nochmal!!), die drinks, die Nomad Platte und auch die hauptspeisen, alles kam sehr schnell und war schlicht perfekt 😋 danke Nicole und an das ganze team! wir kommen wieder 😊

bis das essen endlich kommt, ist der hunger weg 🙁👎

wir waren gestern abend (märz 2023) da und waren leider sehr enttäuscht! es hat alles ziemlich gut angefangen. die drinks waren gut und die vorspeise (mazze) liess auf einen gaumenschmaus hoffen. die bedienung vermochte allerdings von anfang an nicht zu überzeugen. wir hatten alle den burger bestellt, und dann ging das warten los… irgendwann fragten wir, ob wir noch kurz auf eine zigarette raus können und haben dann noch mal ewig gewartet. alles in allem haben wir bestimmt 1 stunde (eher länger) auf leider maximal mittelmässige und zudem lauwarme burger gewartet. die pommes waren ok, aber die mini portion ketchup war grauenhaft (geschmacklich viel zu dominant) und die ebenfalls mini portion mayo zu fade. unserer kellnerin ist es während der ganzen wartezeit nicht eingefallen mal zu informieren. als wir die lange wartezeit bemängelten, war die antwort, es sei viel los. das ist ja wohl keine entschuldigung, schliesslich sollte ein restaurant am freitag abend personell entsprechend aufgestellt sein! generell ging alles sehr lange. sie war nicht unfreundlich, aber freundliche bedienung geht ganz klar anders!

alles in allem: schönes lokal, wenn auch v.a. vorne viel zu eng bestuhlt, gute drinks, aber definitiv kein platz um essen zu gehen. und wegen der enttäuschenden erfahrung werde ich bestimmt nicht so bald wieder hin gehen, auch nicht für...

I have been here a few times and here is my review:

Food: The dinner menu was so so for me. It had variety but they were not the most protein packed meals so I wasn’t fully satiated. I got a chicken based dish and there for me it was quite bland.

Service and staff: The staff spoke English which made communication easier for me as a native English speaker, so that was fantastic. They were friendly and welcoming.

Atmosphere: I have never been to this place when it was busy. However, the atmosphere and vibes were good anyway. Music played loud enough to be enjoyed but not too loud that you couldn’t hear your friends.
